I got one of these and am not able to connect the coaxial cable for my house to it. Why?

Can i send video signal from 2 cameras to a laptop with this? i need to steam from my laptop with sdi cabled cameras.

Kinda, you need 1 for each camera, you need 2 capture cards for your PC and then pick which device you want at a time, probably meed OBS or switching software to pick which camera you want live.

What are the power requirements? will this run off usb-a port of a monitor (500ma for usb2 / 900ma for usb3)?

I've not used them like this, but based on operating temperature, (heat = current) this model doesn't draw as much current as the cheaper (in every sense of the word) devices sold under random brand names. If your monitor is less than three years old -and- if you are using no other USB ports on the monitor, it should work. However, if you're planning to install many of them, check return eligibility and purchase one to test with your particular monitor model.

Will this work for a tv with no coax input port to send a signal to the hdmi input port from an antenna?

Ahh, no. This is for SDI a different digital video standard than Coax. You would want something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Modulator-Converter-Demodulator-Digital-Adapter/dp/B09CN9YMTK/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=RF+to+HDMI&qid=1662854066&sr=8-3 I don't have experience with this particular one, it is an example, the device keyword is RF modulator to take over the air signals and convert them to HDMI output, all will have a remote to handle things as this is the TV tuner portion included with standard consumer Televisions. hope this helps
