Good Decent batteries, pros and cons below
Tried to expand my rechargeable battery arsenal so I picked up a set of these. I picked these over the LiIon batteries with a microUSB/TypeC charger slot as these Hixons do house a larger battery without the slot. They also appear to be a better build/brand than many of the other cheap Chinese equivalents out there. Cons: Not quite close to their rated capacity. At a 500mAh draw, the AA's made it to 2100 mAh (about 3150 mWh's, not 3500), and the AAA's made it only to 570 (830 mWh, not 1100). The AAA's won't supply as much total current as their alkaline or NiMH equivalent. Price per battery is much higher than that of NiMH. Charger requires you to plug it into USB power before connecting the batteries (more of a nuisance). At the 1.5volts that these run at, they could be good for flashlights, however, they get too hot when used at a high discharge for too long due to the buck converter circuit inside. If used in a flashlight, i recommend only intermittent use to reduce overheating batteries. Pros: The AA's have about the same amperage output as their NiMH or Alkaline equivalents. The cells hold a constant 1.5volts throughout their whole life, only briefly dropping to 1.1v, then shutting off the circuit upon being dead, nice feature for some applications. Lighter than Alkaline or NiMH. Easy and quick to charge. Summary: Until these style batteries can either increase their capacity or reduce their cost, they likely won't be competing with NiMH rechargeables for 80% of use cases anytime soon. For the 20% - some electronics require or perform better at higher voltages (Smart locks, RC cars, wireless controllers to maximize range, anything with a motor, etc.), so I'd recommend buying a set of these for those specific electronics, and sticking with NiMH for everything else. DO NOT: recharge these via any charger other than the one supplied with the batteries, they require a 5V input regulated by the Hixon charger.

Reliability
Received okay, charge the AA batteries first to use. Then charged the AAA batteries but had a small problem, only one battery would not charge, charge light stayed red and no flashing blue light. Tried over and over, same results, other three charged okay.

Not so good for Mini-Z in most cases
Wanted to try these for my various Mini-Z cars with brushed and brushless motors. The amp draw appears to be limited quite a bit. With a box stock car, white can bushed motor and 6t pinion the car starts slow and then is ok. Needs about 4 foot then gets full power. This just gets worse with a bigger pinion or the black can brushed motor. Where they did work ok was on the 4100 and 5600 Kyosho brushless motors. The 5600 is right on the limits with an 8t pinion. Batts came off the track at 106f at 6 minutes. These also worked well with my PN chassis car with a GL 3500 motor. Batts were only 87f at 6 minutes. My 5500 Yeah Racing motor was not good, could not pull full throttle almost anywhere or it slowed down.

Saves you money and saves the environment
Use and toss batteries are so expensive! I can now use these instead and save a lot of money and also no worries for polluting the environment since they will last for years. I have them in some battery operated devices for a couple of months and love the way they hold charge and save me money long term.

No strength to the batteries: adding an edit
We use AAA battery headsets (marriage savers) to listen to the TV. Using a regular battery, we can keep the headset on and continue to get great reception walking around the house, upstairs, downstairs, even outside 50 feet from the front door. With these rechargeables, you must stay in the same room as the TV to get reception in the headset. I tried a regular charge, then tried charging the batteries a week, and they are weak, no matter what. I put in a new set of recharged batteries and turned on the headset and put it in the room with the TV. It only lasted from about 10 pm to 8 am, maybe 10-12 hours of use time. The pitch was that these are supposed to be so much better and I suppose if you are in a stationary position and don't need long use, these would work. They are not worth it for our purposes. Edit: The AA Batteries never did charge. I'm adding a picture of the AA batteries charging for a week, still not charging. The light turns green when they charge. The AAA batteries would charge up for about 10 hours. Waste of money. I missed my return window. The charger will blink red for the first three batteries, and the 4th would just maintain red, not blink at all. Just a terrible purchase. Tossing the whole thing.
