37mm thread
Lens seems well made & good for my scientific application. If you want to add a filter, thread size is 37mm.

Decent
I feel a little dumb for all of the $250 to $450 C-Mount lenses I bought. This one is probably as good as a $300 Edmund Optics lens. Only downside is they don't have many choices of other focal lengths.

Great lens, but check your copy
I adapted this onto a camera for use as a cine lens... And it is awesome! Chromatic aberration at f1.4 but come on... if you are on a big crop in video shooting on a digital sensor, the cost benefit ratio is very much in your favor regardless. Just make sure your copy doesn’t lose its focus position when turned up and down, it’s been known to happen from loose connections. But the manufacturer showed concern and was quite helpful in this regard.

This makes for a good security camera lens
This lens is easy to focus and makes for a good security camera lens for medium distances like small yards, or large rooms where the camera is going to be mounted high or a little bit away from the subject area.

Very nice for the price
I had been warned that lenses for 1" camera sensors would be hard to find and pricey. These lenses did not disappoint in price or performance. (Though they were hard to find... 😅)

Aperture indexing issue
Decent optics and feels pretty well made, but the aperture ring is misindexed with respect to the enamel aperture numbers. The offset is at least half of the entire travel, and there is no way to fix this without disassembling the entire lens. Not sure if it's poor quality control or all are like this, but it's very inconvenient.

Received defective piece, focus ring not working. Extremely disappointed.
Received defective piece it seems. Focus ring rotates, but no effect. I am using it for official Raspberry Pi HQ Cam. I tried to use another lens from Argon40 which my friend bought earlier, and it works perfectly fine. Extremely disappointed, waste of time and money.

Didn’t work well
I used on my rasp with octoprint and it didn’t work well at all, the camera it self with raspbian does work great.
