Mind blown at the quality of these. I have used a lot of cheap calipers over the years that got the job done but these are on another level! Screen is awesome. The head, battery case and screen are built like tanks. No cheap plastic feel. The wheel glides like oiled glass. Checked against a few precision gauge blocks and they are spot on. I bought the 6 and 12" versions to replace my HF cheapies and wish I had spent the money long ago! I also like they have a 2032 battery instead of a LR44. The 2032 is nearly double the capacity and life. Just buy them.

This thing is quality. I never write reviews, but after surfing through all the knockoff Amazon brands I was so happy the caliper I decided on is actually this good. Built nicely, feels like a real tool and not a plastic toy. I’ve already 3D modeled some things using it and so far it has been spot on. Love that it comes with a case and certificate of accuracy. Just BUY IT!

While the DCLR-0605 I originally ordered had a technical issue that could not be resolved. The DCPR-0605 that Clockwise Tools sent me as a replacement, has been top notch! I don't use my caliper very often, and when I do, I expect it to function as expected, and give absolutely accurate results. This replacement unit has functioned perfectly, the quality is exactly what I hoped for, and honestly, the customer service surpassed my expectations for an online retailer. 10/10 would recommend!

I love the quality, and big, easy to read display. It is fairly heavy which seems to indicate quality, and it works perfectly well. I bought this because of the locking pin on the top, metal jaws, the big display, and reduced price. I find the buttons for on/off/zero are in a spot that sometimes get pressed accidentally while using it, but it does do what it is supposed to. I have a super cheap composite digital caliper also, and use it for most everything because it is so light and easy to use, but when I want to transfer a measurement by dragging the metal jaws along my metal piece to score a light line into the metal directly I use these. Accuracy seems to be about the same as my cheap ones. Advice: get ones with metal jaws and a locking screw.

My profession is Quality Assurance and I use calipers daily. At work I use a really nice (and really expensive) set of calipers; I wanted something to keep at home for my own projects but didn’t want to spend that kind of money. I found these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. I have to say they are REALLY nice calipers, not even considering the price. When you factor in how affordable they are, they really are hard to beat. The movement is nice and smooth. The readout is clear and easy to read. There’s no flex or wiggle, everything is solid. And they are also accurate and repeatable. They also come with a nice solid case and extra battery. I hope they last a decent while, because my impression after having used them a bit is really positive.

Well, it is now almost 7 years of constant use of the Clockwise Tools DCLR-0605 caliper, and I am still using it as my go-to Caliper. The tool as stated in my previous 5 yr update is still as accurate as the day it was purchased. I am so impressed with the quality of this tool as stated prior. The cost of this tool for what you get is unbelievable. I will not bore you with a 10 or 15 yr update, as I have come to the conclusion that if you purchase the tool and use it constantly as I have and you take care of your tools this tool will probably outlast me OR You!! The accuracy of this tool which I have had since 12/2018 (That's FIVE Years) is great. over the past five years I have used at least 2-3 times a week. The accuracy is equal to Mitutoyo and Fowler and Starrett calipers which I also have that cost Mega Bucks more! I reference the accuracy using calibrated Meyer Gage Class Z set and also a calibrated Mitutoyo Ceramic Grade 00 Gauge Block set. The Clockwise Tools DCLR-0605 is the first tool I grab, and if there are any questions I fall back on the others. All in all, if you need only one caliper to use, I would lean to the Clockwise Tools DCLR-0605. The only thig that I needed to do with this tool over the past five years is change the battery once. Not Bad and the price is Great!!!

I have never been able to get it to turn on. Changed the battery and it still won't turn on. I would try to use it without the digital reading but the numbers are too difficult to read so it cannot be used manually. It wasn't worth the hassle of registering the warranty or even returning it. Do NOT buy. Cheaply made junk!

Amazing replacement for my old caliper. Worlds apart from the cheap ones. Love the CR2032 battery, much better than the small hard to find LR44.

Completely dead, won't turn on after just two years of extremely light use.

I chose these as I wanted the imperial measurement to be full size font to the 0.001" resolution. For calipers that have fractional displays (which this does) the display is often compromised by the number of display columns i.e. such that the 0.01" and below readout is a smaller font which I find very distracting or even confusing. These calipers have a very wide display so that the fractions are to the right of the 0.001' column so a reading of, say 3.562", appears in the same font size (0.0005" indications appear in a smaller font but I find that is actually a rational transition, i.e. tenths of a thou are negligible for me). The finish is way above the low end calipers, smooth and visually good which I really appreciate (I have a Mitutoyu dial caliper and they are similar in smoothness). The display is very cool, very clear and crisp. The control buttons are positioned so that you won't inadvertantly hit the during normal use. I am very happy and am pleased that I did not buy one of the $30 types again.
