What functions can you control with this switch? Doesn't look like you can control volume or switch between songs.

Good grief of course you can’t. It’s just an on/off switch. Your music device....like your phone controls vol and songs played.

Do you have any 3 position switches? I need one for my bilge pump; on, off, auto mode(float mode)

Can you install this switch on its own without a backing plate?

Do you have to cut the hole for the switch to fit into there’s no screws it fits with the edge of the hole.
