I bought this product to extend some solor light panels for my solar deck lights. My deck is in the shade and I need to move out 50 plus feet to get full sun. I am in the process of making the fixtures to hold the lights on the railing. This heavy duty wire gauge is exactly what I needed. I bought 4 reels. Hoping it's enough. Will post pictures of finished product. Looks like really great wire.

I wired every LED light in my boat with this stuff and it's proven itself to be durable and easy to work with. Will buy again for my next project!

Soldering @ 550° does not make the insulation shrink back. Takes solder readily (60/40 type). Very limp, like headphone wire. Outer sheath provides good protection.

I purchased this to extend the length between my halloween pathway lights and it works very well. I paired it with some clips instead of splicing the wires to each other. It was easy to cut, strip, and attach to each light.

I like the wire because it's very very good wire. It has a special thick coating on the outside and multi multi-strand again very very good wire.

Installed this wire today and it's not 65 ft

The wire itself is nice and roughly as described but a 17 strand 22 AWG wire should have strands that are .16mm in diameter not .14mm as the listing described, and I measured. The resistance of the 20 meter roll, performed with a lab grade meter and kelvin clips, was 1.43 Ohms when it should have been 1.2 Ohms. The construction description and my measurements are consistent with this having an effective AWG somewhere between 23 AWG and 24 AWG. Most wire I have purchased on Amazon has smaller conductors than advertised so this one is probably no worse than other cables you can buy here.

Does the job but is very rigid, does not lay well, if you are looking for a playable outer coating maybe skip this one
