Reliable WiFi extender with easy setup and strong signal
I bought this TP-Link WiFi extender to help boost the signal in my home office, and it has made a noticeable difference. Setup was quick and straightforward—I had it up and running in just a few minutes. Once connected, it immediately improved my WiFi coverage in areas that used to have weak or spotty signal. One feature I really like is the Ethernet port. I’m able to plug directly into it, which gives a more stable connection for work compared to relying on WiFi alone. The indicator lights also make it easy to see that everything is connected and working properly. The design is compact and plugs right into the wall without taking up much space. It’s been reliable so far with no drops or issues. Overall, this is a great option if you need to extend your WiFi range or improve connectivity in a specific room. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and has been a solid addition to my setup. I use this in a home office setup and it’s been especially helpful for keeping a consistent connection during the workday.

Easy to set up and it works better than expected. And at a very good price
I was skeptical but this tbing actually works. My garage is under ground about 100 feet and from the house where the router is, i was not able to get connected to wifi, so i bought this extender and for 19 dollars its not much to lose but whe. I set it up i got very strong signal. I was able to connect a TV, phones and computers and a PS5. I. Able to play online games on tbe PS5 with no issues. Very good product.

Overall good
I’ve had a mixed experience with my TP-Link device. When it’s working properly, performance is great—fast speeds, solid coverage, and easy initial setup. However, I’ve been running into issues keeping it stable in access point mode. The Ethernet connection intermittently drops, which disrupts the network and requires troubleshooting or resets. It’s hard to say if this is a device issue, a configuration challenge, or something environmental, but it does impact reliability. Overall, it shows a lot of potential and works well at times, but consistency has been a challenge.

Great Wi-fi extender. Easy easy to set up
Excellent device, it was easy to pair with my current modem and it picked up the signal in the new location and works without issues. The companion app makes the process easier and you can even use the same password in the second Wi-Fi net than the first for easier time to connect and remember. The signal is strong now all around the house. Easily recommended for anyone that have struggles with the signal quality or strength.

Easy Setup, Works Well
I set this device up 75 ft from my router at the far edge of my house and had no issues picking up my internet. The device I have hooked up to the extender is a smart TV another 75 feet away in a metal building and I am able to streams with no major issues. Pros: Easy setup. Cheap. Works well (great for the price). Can be setup without an app! huge plus because I get tired of having apps on my phone I never use. It can be setup vis app, wps, or browser. Cons: Internet speed fluctuates more than normal. I occasionally hit slow spots but never full disconnect.

Perfect for my home!
This TP-Link extender was incredibly easy to set up and made an immediate difference in my home’s Wi-Fi coverage. The instructions were straightforward, and within just a few minutes I had it connected and running. Before installing it, we had several areas of the house where the signal was weak or would drop completely. After adding this extender, the connection is stable and fast even in the rooms that used to be dead zones. Streaming, video calls, and everyday browsing all work smoothly now. I also appreciate how compact and unobtrusive the device is, it plugs in neatly and doesn’t take up much space. Overall, this has been a reliable and affordable way to improve our home network. Highly recommend it to anyone needing better Wi-Fi coverage.

Decent budget fix, but don't expect miracles (or full speed)
picked this up because it was highly rated by Engadget as a top budget pick for 2023, and for the price, it’s a solid "good enough" solution. However, there are some trade-offs you should know about before buying. The Good Simple Setup: The Tether App is actually great. I had it synced with my router in about 5 minutes. Design: It’s compact and doesn’t block the second outlet, which is a huge plus in a hallway. Fills the Dead Zone: It successfully got a signal into my back bedroom where the Wi-Fi used to drop completely. My smart speaker and laptop now stay connected without issues. The Not-So-Good Major Speed Drop: While the box says 1.2Gbps, keep in mind that's a theoretical combined speed. In reality, my download speeds dropped by about 50-60% when connected through the extender compared to being near the main router. It’s fine for 1080p streaming, but 4K or heavy gaming might struggle. Range is Optimistic: The "1500 sq. ft." claim feels like it applies to an open field. Through two standard walls, the signal strength drops significantly. Occasional Drops: About once a week, I have to unplug it and plug it back in because the 5GHz band just disappears. Final Verdict If you just need to get basic internet to a "dead" corner of your house for scrolling or emails, this is an absolute bargain. But if you’re looking for high-performance gaming or have a very large home with thick walls, you’re better off investing in a true Mesh system.

Setting up the extender is a breeze, and the reception has improved notably. I really like the one-mesh technology, eliminating the need to change networks at home.

Bastante bueno, mi módem está en la planta de abajo y en las recamaras de arriba no llegaba bien la señal en especial las del fondo (solo dos rallitas de cobertura) y con el extensor tengo todas las barras. Es fácil de configurar lo recomiendo

After installing a brand new TP-Link AXE75 (AX5400) WiFi 6E wireless router, I will still getting weak spots in the some rooms. I was hoping this would fix the issues with my Linksys Atlas mesh wireless network, which had good range but devices kept binding to a weaker node and wasn't switching nodes seamlessly. After doing some research, I bought this TP-Link RE315 Range Extender because it could work with my router using TP-Link's OneMesh/EasyMesh system. I was a bit skeptical given my bad experience with the Linksys mesh system. Setup was incredibly simple, I plugged the RE315 into a power outlet that was more central in my home, on a different floor from router. Pressed the WPS buttons on both the router and range extender and after a couple of minutes, they paired and the RE315 extended my 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Using my router's web interface, I could see the RE315 as a "Mesh device". To test, I used my Pixel 6 and the WiFi Analyzer app on 5GHz network. With this phone on my previous Linksys Atlas mesh, it would bind to a node but wouldn't switch to the stronger node, even if I was 1 ft away from it. I had to turn off WiFi and turn it back on before it bound to nearest node. With my TP-Link EasyMesh setup, I could see my Pixel 6 was connected to the AXE75 router. As a moved downstairs and was a few feet away from RE315, I saw the connection switch to the range extender. It was completely seamless and I didn't lose the WiFi network, it just switched. With WiFi Analyzer, I could tell which network device I was connected to based on Mac address and IP. Onto an Internet speed test. Connected upstairs to AXE75, I was getting 600 Mbps down, 300 Mbps up on and 1Gbps Internet. Connected to the RE315, I was only getting 90 Mbps down, 60 Mbps up, which seems slow but I was expecting that with range extender as half the bandwidth is connecting to the main router, while other half is for clients. This is also a WiFi 5 AC1200 ranger extender, compared to my WiFi 6E AX router. So I was pleased with this performance since the area I was getting the dead spots in, I was now seeing full strength with good speeds, which is much better than dropped connections I was getting not using the range extender, or with my previous Linksys Atlas mesh.

Very happy with my purchase. What i like about this wifi extender is that you can change the passwords within the Tether app, something you cant do with the cheaper models. Would buy again if required
