The picture says 8 but description says .5 which is it ? .8 or .5

So Sakura has this system where they have numbers for each nib size. So number 8 is a 0.5 mm nib, number 5 is a 0.45 mm nib, so on. You can see the nib size in product description too, I think.

Do these pens bleed through fabric?

If you are using the Micron Pigma pens for signing names on fabric they really don't bleed. You need to write quickly and not let the pen rest on the fabric. I prefer the size 8 for signing because they produce a decent weight line that doesn't need to be traced over repeatedly to be able to read the signature.

Do these write well on glossy paper?

They write well, but will take time to dry and set. I mostly work on cold press watercolor paper, but have used them on glossy in the past.

are these waterproof if I paint with watercolor over it

It dries quickly and does not smudge in water, so it can be used as a waterproof. (watercolor) However, if water comes in contact with water immediately after use, a small amount of black ink smears, so it is recommended to use it after the ink is dry.
