Balance sound signature. Value for money. I have used tin t2 pro which is very sharp compared to this, though this has warm sound signature and feels good. If you have any other expensive IEM, you should compare the sound with KZ AS 10 and see it for yourself.

Firstly, when i started my hunt for some decent IEM'S, I jad 3 good reasons to use them: 1) for serious gaming use. 2) for music. I am a bit of an audiophile and a former musician of the gothic tradition. 3) for video editing. I have a small and unheard of YouTube channel and they would make editing the audio way better and easier. So realizing the workload these things would experience i started a deep dive week long hunt. What is the proverbial "Most bang for the buck"? My final 3 picks for make boiled down to KZ, semigot, and sony. The ZS series is probably one of the most common used by semi-serious gamers, and was also mentioned regularly in video editing. I had a budget to keep, so under 75 was the goal. I didn't really want to get the Sony's, they're at least good quality but their sound was lacking, especially at the price point. The semigot had a cool triple driver in a snail shell shape setup, but were right at my price limit. The KZ's were perfect middle price wise. But along with the ZS series prevalence came complaints: the one genuine and common complaint was they just didn't have enough bass. So digging through the KZ catalog I found they had already addressed the issue with the AS series. Quite quickly and frankly as far as earphone technology goes this is an astounding amount of firepower (and quality) for the price. The ZS's are well known for being bright and very clear, but that "brightness" that comes from the four armatures apparently overwhelms the single dynamic driver that handles the bass. The AS's use TWIN drivers along with the same four armatures, and what this translates to is an incredibly powerful AND balanced monitor. My particular pair were the simple (no boost switches) model but i did splurge a lil and got the nice cable with the built in mic. Now it can seriously do everything, even phone calls! And i know there's some confusion about the ear tips. Apparently some come with and others without, but as you can see in the photos mine came with a very complete set. I also want to note here that these IEM's don't have any noise cancelling built-in, but one set of ear tips provided are sound isolating, and honestly do the job just as good and is kind of a win-win because that's a simple way of keeping costs down. For Gamers: the benefits of these over anything you'd get at Walmart or GameStop is astounding. Case in point, the spatial sound capabilities are by themselves just worth it. Missles can be heard for what seems like over 300-500 meters further, and the "rainbow" made from hearing them fly overhead and hearing the noise completely travel from full left to full right was astonishing. The details were also noteworthy, you could actually distinguish the fizzle of the rocket motor separately from the whoosh of the body of the missles parting the air in flight. Rain sounds effing beautiful too. Individual pattering of drops on leaves can be heard while waiting in ambush ;) For Video Editors: The difference between these and using anything less is tantamount to using a flashlight versus night vision goggles. Before i had these voiceovers were something i groaned at. Because i would have to do about 30 takes. But now i can just do it in one. Reason being even if i do screw up, i can hear well enough to cut it out no problem. Matter of fact these offer you the precision of hearing individual syllables quite clearly, allowing me to make literal split second edits with perfect tone and timing, and all outta one take. Their natural neutrality also allows for great volume leveling between multiple sources. Plus in all due honesty, even though they're a lil big, they're feather light, and even with the heavier sound insulating tips i can wear them for 6-8 hours no problem. Matter of fact i did a 12 hour stint in these things on MechWarrior 5 and with careful throttling of the volume finished the day with my ears no better or worse than a full day without anything. One last cool detail is the cord has reinforced sleeves that pre-bend the cable around your ear and after their in for a minute it's almost like wearing nothing at all. For Audiophiles: ok, I'm going to get a lil technical just for the actual musicians in the crowd. My first real test of these things was with a staple of mine: KMFDM. Their single "professional killer" is notorious for ANNIHILATING cheap speakers with me. Between the double bass drum, the synthesizer bass, and the 140+BPM translates into an absolute wrecking ball that leaves most speakers congealing the whole bottom end into a muddled mess with no definition. The AS's handled this assault with no problem and left me wondering if there IS anything they can't do. Each hit of both the drums and the bass were perfectly pronounced with just the right amount of resonance. One testament i can give that surprised me on the clarity front came from playing evanescence's cover of "the chain", originally written and performed by Fleetwood Mac. During the songs outro, i usually only ever heard one backing vocal, with a series of whispers behind. But now I've come to hear that there's actually a layering of 3 (!) backing vocals in loop, and i can hear what each one is saying. This difference is even noticable at lower volume levels, allowing you to literally hear more without having to crank the volume. In closing, the last thing i could add is these are definitely made for professional use. They can benefit greatly from some EQ. They do seem a little bass heavy out of the box, and straight up, on a 10 channel EQ, they work best with a gentle slope; -1.5 decibels @ the 20-60HZ range ending in a +1 decibel at the 8-16K Hz range. At that point they're balanced like throwing knives. Also mind your preamp gains, these things are actually loud enough out of the box i had to turn down my regular volume levels across all 4 devices they get plugged into. On the bright side they keep their clarity pretty well all the way to the maximum volumes my devices can push, and as long as the EQ is on the only limit to their clarity is apparently your own natural hearing capabilities. In all due honesty to outperform these things would probably require going seriously overboard on something costing hundreds of dollars. These represent the highest level of audio technology reasonably available to everyone. I set out on a mission. And that mission wasn't just a success, it was a crushing strategic victory with ramifications for years to come. I very seriously doubt I'll ever be looking back at this purchase with anything but joy. And i do believe i have found the best. The technology, the price point, the build quality and even the packaging is all top tier effort.

Fantastic sound quality. I currently own a 3 driver professional IEM set that got broken during a gig. The manufacturer wanted over 280 dollars to replace 1/2 the unit. I tried these not expecting much and was amazed when I plugged them in. I used them on a gig last weekend and they were great. They stayed in my ear with no issues and sounded great at a fraction of the prikce of my original units. They came with extra tips and a cleaning tool. The only issues is the cord length is a little shorter than I would like. Not a deal breaker. An unusal issue is they seem to be wired in series. If you unplug one side, both units stop playing. Again, not a deal breaker but unusual. I,m a gigging drummer and these work perfectly for me/

Bought and tested a few IEMs today. This one is my favorite. Honestly I wasn't impressed by the sound signature when I first put them in. I found it to be a bit flat and recessed. The more I put them through their paces the more impressed I was. They sound good in all genres of music. They are very non fatiguing. You can listen to them all day without getting irritated. Yes they sound great. Good frequency response across the spectrum. They has less bass response than some of KZ hybrid models but if there and it's clean. Like the bass on Sennheiser HD 650s. Present but not over rumbly. I would recommend these over any of the cheaper model's. The extra few bucks is worth it.
