Sea Breeze Actives Original Formula Astringent - 10 Oz

This product is absolutely amazing. I have been using it since I was 12 years old (I'm 42 now) and it has done nothing but take excellent care of my skin. Everyone thinks I'm at least 10 yrs younger than I am. This product thoroughly cleans my skin, leaving it very fresh and invigorated, ready and prepped for moisturizers and make up. This product also removes all traces of the day and leaves my skin very clean, feeling fresh, and ready for bed. It also doubles as an excellent hand sanitizer, cuticle cleaner, treats bug stings, rashes and itch. I've been disappointed that this product is now so very hard to find and pleased to find it with one seller Sea Breeze Astringent Original Formula 300 Ml, 10 Oz (3 Pack) . I've been looking for an equivalent to this product since Clairol stopped making the original formula and moved to "actives" - which is horrible. It leaves a gross film on the skin; but I have been unable to find anything that comes close to this amazing original formula of Sea Breeze. I highly recommend it. It is strong and can strip your skin with overuse but with normal use, it will thoroughly clean your skin and double for other health and beauty issues... Period. I honestly don't know what I will do once the supply runs out. Clairol should listen to their life long customers and continue making the original formula. The fact that they don't seem to care, yes I've spoken to a few reps in the past, speaks volumes about their company/customer ethics.

Like the caption states, this is the best astringent. It does have alcohol but they do have one for sensitive skin. If you ever get itchy scalp from dryness or oiliness, give this a try. I read about using it for that years ago and it has never failed me to take that itch away. Feels clean and fresh and very tingly on the scalp. Highly recommend!

I was absolutely blessed with clear skin in high school, and don't think I'm not aware of my good fortune. That was going on 40 years ago now, and I recall having had somewhat oily skin in the "T" zone, and some blackheads there, too. I think it was a cousin who taught me about Sea Breeze. I used it probably a couple of times a week, and it kept the oil away without drying my skin. I've noticed reviewers mention that this is not the same formula or scent they remember. I have no reason to doubt them, I just don't remember back that far. I bought this for my husband who is having some breakouts, and he is very pleased with it. I will buy this again. The price is right, it is a good product and it still smells nice.

I've been using this product for over 25 years. I was really dissapointed to find they had quite making it. I know, my wife thinks I'm nuts, too, but check online. There are tons of people dedicated to this stuff. In recents years I've had to purchase it online, including a recent purchase of a supply from Amazon. I've written letters, called the manufacturer, spoken to WalMart buyers. . .NOTHING. Then. . . last week I noticed my local WalMart has started carrying it (In IL), replacing the Actives line. Happy Day! This stuff is the best facial cleaner ever produced. I hope they keep it around. I'd considering buying the patent if they'd let me.

I use this product and its sister product (Sea Breeze Actives which is excellent for the skin as well as for minor itches-- I actually buy the Actives about 2 to 1 to the Original). This original formulation I use for shaving. Whether I use foam, a blade or an electric razor, my facial skin will itch and burn after a shave-- unless I use this product. In fact, I put Noxema on my hand, sprinkle in Sea Breeze, and shave with a disposable razor. When I am finished, I wipe (not wash) it away and use the Sea Breeze as an after shave-- never a problem.

I am SO glad to have found this original formula here. The Actives formulas do not match up to this one at all. I love my Sea Breeze original and have for many years. Don't know what I will do when the supply is all gone as I have not found any other product like it. Warning: it is the strongest astringent product I have ever used so while it's invigorating, it tends to be overwhelming for some people. For me though, it is a wake up call. Love the smell of it too. Super cool, super refreshing, super clean! Enjoy!

My dad recommended this product when I couldn't control my breakouts and let me tell you! I absolutely love it! My face is very sensitive and I was afraid it would burn and cause my face to become very red, but it has done the opposite. My skin feels so smooth and clean and when putting seabreeze on my face it left it with a cool and refreshing feel. I'm definitely going to be sure I always have some in stock!
