**Q: Using teflon tape, should the anode not be in electrical contact with the tank?**
A: No, I fills in the gaps. I measured it to check for that possibility and it connects fine.

**Q: What is the diameter of the rod?**
A: the diameter of the rod is 19cm

**Q: where is it manufactured? What are the actual length of each anode (not including the wire in-between) How many anode links**
A: Not sure where it was manufactured, I just know it did not work.  The smell returned within 3 weeks.

**Q: What is the actual length of each individual rod(not including the wire)?**
A: This is for the 44 inch flexible magnesium anode rod, ASIN	B07W7QDDB7:
rod sections starting with the top length including the threaded plug;
section 1) 11-1/8 inches
section 2) 11-7/16 inches
section 3) 11-7/16 inches
section 4) 6-7/8 inches
There is a 1-1/8 to 1-3/16 inch length of cable between each.
The rod diameter is 3/4 inch.
