Review: Work Great For My Needs - I have been doing a lot of home construction projects of date, and have been using these for over six months. === The Good Stuff === * They stay connected to my jeans, and the adjustment slides seem to stay where I put them. This may seem like an obvious thing for suspenders to do, but based on my experience, it is a bit of a rarity. * I don't use a toolbelt, but I have a habit of carrying tools in my pockets, and of doing a lot of bending, stretching, ladder-climbing and other construction gymnastics during the day. I have never had the length adjustment slip, and I can count the number of times they have come undone...usually the result of getting the front clip caught on something. * The front and rear clips are a nice low profile. They stay attached, but don't protrude very far to get caught on things while you are working. * I find the wide straps more comfortable than the narrow ones, especially with a couple tools in my pockets. I am 5'8 with a pretty big frame, and they fit me with a good 4-6" of extra strap. === The Not-So-Good Stuff === * I like to carry my phone in a shirt pocket, and the wide strap crosses right over the pocket, making it tough to get the phone out quickly. On the other hand, it also serves to keep the phone from falling out of my pocket when I lean over. * Occasionally the wider strap works its way a little too close to my neck, and can rub a bit. A little experimentation on attaching point location greatly reduced the problem, but it will occasionally sneak up on me, especially if I am crawling around a bit. === Summary === I have about a half-dozen pairs of suspenders, and these are the ones I keep using. They stay fastened, the adjustments don't slipped, and they have held up to 6 months of abuse, which is far better than most of the other ones I have tried. An occasional hand wash and drip dry is about all the care that they get, and they still look mostly new- except for the paint splatters. I am happy with them, and have gotten my money out of them. I will replace them with the same brand if they do fail.

First clasps that actually work!
I have a big belly and no butt - so almost everything tends to fall down at approximately 9.8 m/sec squared. Suspenders are the obvious solution (since dieting doesn't seem to help). I've had several, but all tend to let go - as per Murphy's Law - at the worst possible time. Keeping your pants up is not just a fashion issue. As described, the clasps on these just cam tighter when pulled on. They are expensive, but they absolutely work - pockets loaded and all. I bought the 2" heavy duty, but looking for the same clasps in a 'dress' style suspender.
