Yes I still have to work on my tension and stitch making but I felt like I didn’t have the hook itself fighting against me. I love these hooks and they are cheaper than my rosewood set. So if you are starting out, go with the PRYM hooks. The only downside is if you buy the sets then you may have to take out the cardboard that gives the Letter designation and write beside the letters the millimeter for each hook. That’s what I did. I just took that little piece of cardboard out and just wrote what millimeter each hook was above where they have have letter designations. The larger set came with just a millimeters on them. The smaller set came with just the letter designations on them so that’s why I took the cardboard down and wrote the millimeters on the smaller set, but it looks like now they only sell them with the letter designation for each hook! I probably need to put the letter designation beside the millimeter of each hook onto the cardboard. If I have to ever get another set of these, especially the larger set that I purchased first, I will write the millimeters beside the letter designations. When I purchased the larger hook set hooks were listed as millimeters. Most patterns and Yarns refer to what millimeter hook you need. But some patterns may just have the letter designation on the pattern so it is best to keep the hooks in their boxes and write both designations down just in case.
