**Q: Can this be used without the power supply?**
A: The only permanent cord is the one (USB) that connects to the computer. There isn't another power supply,  it's powered by USB on the same connection for data.

**Q: Can this device output hdmi video, in conjunction with the labtops original hdmi output, so that in total two additional screems cam be extended?**
A: Hey Hector, Please note it is the computer that is providing the video signals, not this device....this device is only routing the video being provided by the computer, so IF the computer has any kind of video output that can be sent to monitor, such as a built-in hdmi adapter, then YES the "computer" can provide a video signal to monitor #1 while ALSO providing a hdmi signal through this USB-to-HDMI adapter to monitor #2 at the same time.

**Q: Will this work for a bluetooth mouse and keyboard? I want to connect my laptop to my keyboard, mouse, and monitor at the same time.**
A: Hel Kelsey, regarding your question to be able to use your Bluetooth mouse....a bluetooth mouse does not require a physical connection, like a dongle, you would see on certain mice.  If your mouse has that dongle, then it is not a bluetooth mouse.  It uses a "local" wifi connection between the mouse and the dongle.

I like a bluetooth mouse the best because it does "not" require that dongle...something protruding from the laptop that can accidentally be broken off or damaged when moving the laptop.

Now to your other question I see here....even if your mouse "does" require a dongle to talk to the laptop, you can use this 5-in-1 adapter to hook up all the other devices you've listed in your question and all at the same time.

Note, if you look at the end of the cable on the adapter and it has a "blue" bar (when you look in the end of the cable) then make sure you hook it up to the port on your laptop that also has the blue color or the letters, "SS" printed right above the port itself.  The "SS" stands for Super-Speed.

**Q: Does this require a device driver?**
A: It comes in the device.  When you plug it, you go to your PC and you can see a new driver is found, double click on it and inside is the driver.
