Can these be used as a filter for a diy face mask?

I would not use this as a filter without knowing all materials used in manufacturing. I suggest using a thin sanitary napkin or panty liner for that :)) you are assured that is safe to be close to your skin

Is there soap or a cleaning agent in these wipes?

There is no soap or cleaning agent, that is why I like them for my mom, i get to use my soap or I use the aloe vesta skin cleaners. And then I throw them away.

Are these wipes lint free?

Yes; I use these to make homemade ‘Clorox’ wipes with Thieves Household Cleaner. Love them!

How does it react when you wet them?

These dry wipes do work when you wet them. However, because of their very thin construction we found them difficult to use when wet. The wipes tend to wad up when wet and stay wadded. We occasionally use one wet, but not often. We find fragrance free baby wipes easier to do the job.
