I have read Doterra does not approve of selling their products on Amazon. How do I know distributors aren't tampering with product?

What is the difference between Doterra's Lemongrass and their just plain Lemon essential oil?

They are completely different plants. Lemons (as we know) are citrus fruits and lemongrass is a type of grass. Some information found online: Lemon and lemongrass oils differ in a few ways as well. Lemon oil is used for bug bites, while lemongrass is used to repel insects. Like lemon juice, lemon essential oil is commonly used to overcome common illnesses, although you should see your doctor before using an essential oil. Lemon is used for sore throats, coughs and bronchitis, colds and the flu, as well as digestive concerns like indigestion and gas. Lemongrass is used for sore muscles. Though both types are thought to give you a mental boost, they do so in differing ways. Lemon boosts your mood and mental clarity and helps you feel refreshed, while lemongrass helps to liven your spirits if you have a headache or are stressed. Lemongrass is also used to add shine to hair.

DoTerra oils are always top quality, so I can't fault it. However, I wanted a fresh smell for the house and lemongrass is not the one for me (I ordered it without being familiar with the scent). I find it a bit pungent. I mixed it with some rose geranium oil and found the smell a lot nicer. I have since tried DoTerra Wild Orange and DoTerra May Chang, both of which I love. The May Chang has a lemon sherbet smell. I've ordered DoTerra On Guard too. My yoga teacher used it in our class and it smells lovely. She also says it's nice to mix lavender and wild orange together. I'm new to aromatherapy oils and diffusers, so it's a case of trial and error for me, but I'm not keen on the lemongrass smell on its own.
