Fisher-Price Disney's Dance Star Mickey

Awesome!! the first time I saw the demonstration This is a real animatronic robot that sings, dances, tells jokes, and does the moon walk!! If it was not so damn adorable and mesmerizing, it might be creepy!! I was blown away. However, this toy is pretty much being ignored by all the top ten toy lists of the year. Maybe because Disney has been the big boy on the block for so long it is getting some back lash. This is one is a real sleeper hit about to become a giant for Christmas. I am amazed at how few people seem to know about this, and just by me only being the sixth reviewer, we seem to be the only ones in the room right now, but I suspect others will join the chorus soon. They can't keep these things in stock in the major outlets, and eventually they will sell out on line! Great for the kids, adults, and the collector! This one is the IT toy that is going oddly undiscovered this year!

It seems very sturdy and durable, and after a week of constant playing it is holding up beautifully at the hands of my 24 month old grandson. He is enchanted with the groovy tunes and Mickey's moonwalk dancing. The adults of the family are amused by the clever sayings when Mickey falls down (or is thrown down). Quips like "a little help here" and "man down", to mention a couple, leave you smiling every time it happens. The smiles and laughter on my grandson's face every time Mickey swings into action (at the touch of his hand or foot) make this toy a winner. I would buy it again.

I planned on getting Mickey dance star for my 4 yr old daughter as soon as I saw it in the sale paper. she loves Mickey mouse and watches it regularly! i didnt have a chance to get it last week at the store and went today. Target, Walmart, and Toys r us were all sold out! I knew my daughter would love it because she already had Elmo from last year, Chicken Elmo and Yo Gabba GAbba and loves playing with them. I could not get her away from the mickey dance star display in the store! after searching 6 websites including the stores listed above, I was able to get it on Amazon. I am so glad I got it now, because it is already hard to get. I cant wait to see her eyes light up on christmas morning when she sees him! what an amazing toy he is!

I preordered this toy as soon as it was available and I am glad I did because it is very hard to find right now. I got it as a Christmas present for my best friend's little boy. I took it out of the box and played with it for a couple of minutes and it is great! He is absolutely going to love it! It sings and dances. His hands move all over. My friend's little boy loves Mickey and loves to dance and sing, so I think this is going to be the perfect gift for him...If not, Mickey is more than welcome to stay here and I'll play with him!!

I love this toy! I purchased it for a nephew of mine who absolutely adores Mickey. He's about 18 months old and loves to dance to music like any toddler does before they hit puberty and realize they have no rhythm. Needless to say he enjoys the toy for now. I love that Mickey reacts differently every time you knock it over. I'm almost thirty and I wish I had a toy like this when I was younger, because even at my age I want to keep it for myself.

I originally purchased Dance Star Mickey as a Christmas present for my niece. My son, who was one and a half at the time, instantly took a liking to it, even in its packaging. He began going over to Mickey, pushing his foot and dancing around. As a result, his grandmother decided to get him one, too. Nearly a year after it was first purchased, my son still really loves his Mickey. He sings with him, dances with him and just has an overall good time. The Mickey has held up well, too - My son was young when he got him (and still is), and as a result, he isn't always the most gentle with the toy. Still, Mickey works as well as he did when he was purchased. Pros: *Toy has been played with several times a week for almost a year - so there seems to be lasting appeal (at least for a child) *Durable - withstood the often rough touch of a toddler *Catchy songs and dance moves (the video I have of my son using this toy is priceless) Cons: *While my son comes back to this toy time and time again, he doesn't play with him for terribly long periods of time. Five or ten minutes here or there is the max - but then again, he's young. Plus, the fact that he does continue to go back to the toy over and over is what matters more to me than how long he actually attends to it.

My grandson is only 16 months old and loves music. This was the perfect gift for him. He follows what Mickey is doing. He loves to dance along with him. If Mickey tips over, he thanks you for getting him back on his feet. Fun describes this toy the best. I can see why it was out-of-stock practically everywhere before Christmas. But Amazon was able to find a few places that had it with a price I was willing to pay.

Dance Star Mickey was ordered as a Chanukah gift for my daughter. It took forever to arrive. Finally when it got here we took it out of the shipping box.... The packaging Mickey comes in was all scotch taped together. You press the test button- his left arm didn't raise up or move at all, he cut in and out when singing and then he just quit singing completely and wouldn't do anything when you hit the test button. We didn't even get to take him out of the box he was in OBVIOUS bad shape. I emailed Winter Toyland and expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for information to return the product. I got a reply email telling me I am rediculous to expect them to check their products before sending them out. I was also told "the manufacturer used scotch tape on the box and that "we can handle this like adults so don't go 'ballistic'." I guess I know the difference between a manufacturer taping a box and someone else opening a product and scotch taping the box back together.... But how silly of me to expect them to LOOK at a product before shipping it. I didn't trust them to refund my money so u actually returned it to a store for credit on a gift card. Completely unhappy!!!

This is incredible, I bought it for my disabled brother who is mickey obsessed, and honestly its amazing. I was worried about buying it because obviously I didn't know if it would be broken or anything and that made me nervous. But I decided to take a risk, and I was so glad I did. My brother loves it, its his favourite toy. It puts the biggest smile on his face. I have actually decided to buy one for my son for Christmas. Its defiantly worth the money and I do recommend.

ME AND MY SON LOVE IT !!!!!!!! MY SON LOVES THIS MICKEY MOUSE. WHEN MY BABY WAS 9 MONTHS HAS LEARNED enjoyed watching him .... NOW HETURN ON YOUR OWN! MY SON IS 1 YEAR AND SITS IN FRONT OF HIM .. HE TALK WITH HIM AND SHAKING WHILE DANCING MICKEY. MONEY WELL SPENT WAY! RECOMMENDED FOR ALL CHILDREN AND PARENTS TOO! I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO MICKEY GO MICKEY :-)

My grand-daughter has great fun with this and to hear her chuckling when Mickey starts dancing is a huge reward for any gift. The enjoyment she gets when she plays with it is worth every penny I paid.
