You do not need to use much for thr soap to foam up. The fragrance is very subtle, not overpowering at all! When rincing off it leaves no residue like Dove does.

We discovered this bar soap in the grocery stores all over France. Over there, they are the average low budget bar French folks use, but to us, they are a small but most enjoyable luxury in the shower. Bars are a bit smaller than the average found in the US but the softening ingredients and light fragrance make up for their size. Gentle for facial and body washing.

Best soap EVER ! Savon de Marseille really feels like it totally clean and rejunivate your skin, no needs to add anything after daily "Marseille" experiences ! REALLY !

My favorite soap while we were living in France. Lightly scented and longer lasting than American soaps. Happy they are available through Amazon.
