This has changed my life!
The item arrived quickly, which was very welcome as I was getting over bronchitis at the time and dealing with very poor air quality in my apartment. I read the instructions, inserted the ceramic plate and plugged it in on my kitchen counter for an hour, before moving it to my bedroom (really, though, there was no need to move it since my apartment is fairly small and I just need to keep the doors open). My entire apartment smelled amazing within 3 hours and I slept better that night than I have in years! Needless to say, it also helped speed up my healing process at that point. Now, we have entered allergy season in the Pacific Northwest. Still amazed! I run it most of the time, occasionally turning it off during the day when I am at work. My apartment now constantly smells great and I sleep well EVERY NIGHT. Because I get a rest from all the air pollutants at night and am not breathing in all that pollen and junk, I find I barely need any allergy medication at all. A few sneezes here and there, but no itchy watery eyes, no runny nose, no sneezing fits that leave me breathless, no extra fatigue from my body working so hard to combat all the pollen...I'm really enjoying spring this year without feeling like I have to hide away from the pollen. Now, my body gets a true rest with clean air each night, rather than breathing in all the pollen and particulates 24/7 with no respite.I love this machine! My quality of life has improved dramatically and I am overjoyed by it. I have an older dog with a few health problems and this machine has helped with those odors as well. I rarely use the ozone feature, which is on a separate dial, because it is very powerful. When I do switch it on, I find myself turning it off again after about 15 minutes. It has been really effective using both ionizer and ozone features when pointed at the open cupboard beneath my kitchen sink to deal with mildew smell caused by a slow leak I had a while ago.Note: I don't generally write glowing reviews about stuff. This little gizmo is awesome! No expensive filters. Pleasant looking. Not overly heavy, easy to move around. Amazingly effective.

100% Satisfied
This a great product! First few days I used it in my huge basement where the dogs are kenneled (dogs were gone for a week), used in 2 vehicles (one that packrats got in to and stunk it up) and used to freshen up my bedroom that has very old quilts that are 50+ years old. I am 100% happy with this product! Took care of all the smells and freshened everything up. It's been a week or so since I've used it and everything still smells fresh, like new!Would buy again and recommending it to my friends.UPDATE:All the above areas are still odor free.I have had this machine for 3 months. I left it in a large home running for 3 days, and it completely removed the diffuser oregano oil smell from the home. Also left it to run for 3 days in a newly vacant 2 story 4 bedroom rental. The place wreaked of musty B.O and greasy cooking. Both places still smell fresh and clean from the ozone machine. It's working great and 100% satisfied! ๐

Does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do!
I normally do not write reviews but in this case I am extremely happy. This item did EXACTLY what I expected. I moved in to a typical commercial carpeted office that smelled of smoke, plastic (totes, you know that diaper pail smell), and god knows what else. One room was about 200-300 sq ft and the other about 400 sq ft.I purchased and returned four different units from Lowes and Home Depot costing between 150 and 300.00. After running each for about a week the smells still lingered. Mainly the new filter smell masked the odor for the first two days then the original odors started to linger again. I thought I was going to have to remove the carpet and any other fabric.I remember my parents had something similar to this years ago and it worked well. After an hour on max, in each room with the door closed, it took out everything. There was a heavy ozone smell which dissipated in about a half hour with the original odors gone! I keep the ionizer on most of the day with the ozone setting on low for about an hour in the morning on days I have clients in the office. To me this keeps an internal office with no windows pretty airy in my opinion. If you are a smoker, do not waste your time with any other air filters that cost two to three times as much. If you have allergies or are in a dusty environment that requires a HEPA filtration option, then by all means spend the money. But if odors and smoke is your target this small box does the job.Only thing to be cautious with this unit is it works EXTREMELY WELL. The downside is if you or your clients are sensitive to ozone you need to think ahead of the game with this. Only use the ozone setting when you need to eliminate hard to remove odors. Running on high for two hours with the room closed and UNOCCUPIED (including pets) should do the trick. I personally leave just the ionizer/fan running throughout the day with the ozone function off. The directions are pretty simple to follow but remember everyone's sensitivity to ozone is different. Keep this in mind if you are using this in an office setting.

A good ozone generator and ionizer.
I should say first that I've had trouble with ozone generators in the past. The first was my own error. I once had an ozone generator (OG) which had been given to me by my father. I liked how it got rid of smells and seemed to freshen the air. So I ran it at full intensity while working in my home office, with the door closed. I'd heard that ozone breaks down into oxygen and thought, for some vague reason, that this meant it would be fine to breathe it. (Not smart, I know.) This was decades ago, before it was widely known that ozone can be problematic. But I still should have done more research before using it without ventilation. After several weeks of doing this, I found abruptly that I couldn't breathe... could not get air into my lungs. I ended up taking a trip by ambulance to the local hospital. They gave me oxygen and I recovered.Based on this (expensive) experience I learned that it really, truly is good to NOT breathe ozone. You might be able to breathe a small amount in without a problem, or think there's not a problem, but if can be dangerous, so it's best to avoid breathing it in, especially in a concentrated dose.Five years ago, I bought a new ozone generator from Amazon. I'd learned by then not to breathe the ozone, but missed the air purifying qualities of the OG I'd owned. I planned to run it when I wasn't home. But the one I bought was terrible. The "ozone" or whatever it was producing smelled like burning plastic. It reeked, and made everything in the room I had tested it with also reek. I actually had to throw a bunch of clothes away, because they stunk so badly. Ozone does have a sharp, acrid smell but it shouldn't smell like toxic waste. Whatever that OG was producing was not pure ozone. I returned it to Amazon.A few months ago, I bought this one.And... it's great. Unlike the weird one I bought five years ago, this one makes real ozone. I recognize the smell. But of course, I don't breathe it. Instead, I put it on sometimes when I'm leaving the house, using a timer so it'll shut off production of ozone an hour before I get back. And I leave a ceiling fan going. That gives the ozone time to dissipate and degrade into oxygen. The house smells fresh and clean, all odors gone, when I get home. I don't know if ozone kills all viruses; I suspect it may; but I know it kills some, and using one (when not home) is a good way to clear them out of the air.The other feature this one has, besides a highly effective ozone generator, is a very potent ionizer. It's on a separate control, so you can use it on its own. As far as I know, it ONLY generated ions, not ozone, when you use that knob. I do use this feature when I'm home, because I'm in wildfire-smoke-country and it helps clean the smoke out of the air. (I also have a Winix air purifier that I usually have going at the same time. Together, they totally clear out the smoke. One funny note: when the Winix is on auto, if I turn on the ionizer on the ozone generator, the Winix detects the ions in the air and comes screeching on to try to get rid of them. So I run them in opposite sides of the house.

DO NOT BUY! WILL Put BLACK SOOT on Walls!!
I purchased this Late December 2022. Product seem to work fine at first. Made house smell good and clean. But then......in March, 3 months later I discovered that it was emitting a Black soot. It did significant damage before I realized it. You could not smell it. It didnt smell bad. I am NOT a dirty person. All my walls was washed in November for the holidays, we do not smoke nor do we have any wood burninf stove of any sort. No fireplace! So all this Black you see is from This Air purifier . Apparently it has black carbon it uses to clean or purify. Whatever the case may be. This caused Black soot to be all over in several rooms. This soot was nearly impossible to get off walls and decorations etc. So disappointed. I reached out to the company and they wouldn't respond to me. I made 2 attempts.I spent 8 hours washing and scrubbing walls, to no avail. It was like trying to get cement off a wall. I will have to have several rooms repainted.Do NOT BUY!! If I could give it negative stars I would. And FYI, I never leave reviews. I just wanted everyone to beware so you don't have thousands to shell out from Damages it will cause! Buyer beware!!
