I bought this to cover my leather furniture so that my cats won’t scratch it. With previous covers, the hair would get stuck on them and I wouldn’t be able to wash it, plus they were attracting dust and hair, it was unbearable. This, on the other hand, is easy to vacuum and wash. The hair doesn’t stick as much (just a bit). I wish they had bigger sizes. I bought 3 so far and I’m very happy with them.

Our dog is big and powerful, and tends to tear most dog blankets pretty quickly just in rearranging his bedding. After three months, this blanket is remarkably unripped, and dog hair doesn't seem to stick to it. Both of those surprised us. It also washes fine and looks pretty good as dog blankets go. So far, so great. It'll get an extra star if it survives the year.

Our recently rescued little dog Emma sheds like crazy. Her fur sticks to everything….except these blankets (I bought 2), they continue to look great, rather than washing once or twice per week. They are so soft!!

I had blankets for my dog, Ali, that were a fluffy fleece and they were wonderful until it came time to wash them. Ali's fur was caught up tightly in all the fluff. It wouldn't shake out and made a mess of my washer. I bought these "Friends Forever" blankets to replace the others and what a difference it has made. Her fur shakes right off and they wash up beautifully. This is a very high quality blanket and I expect them to last a long time. Btw, Ali loves the velvety soft feel and rests her snout on the blanket when she's relaxing.

I ordered one of these blankets in May 2025 to try out and see if I liked them. My dog is 10 pounds and has short, coarse hair. I wanted to find something that would wash better and have more of the dog hair come out. I liked this so much, I ordered two more in June of the slightly bigger size. The blankets are soft, but because the fabric is not thick, the hair does not get stuck in between fibers. These come out of the wash with practically no dog hair left on them! I like having multiple smaller blankets for dog in case she makes any messes and I can easily swap them out. These are not overly bulky and fold up and stack nicely. I have not had any tear, holes, seems rip, etc. since having these over eight months.
