## Questions & Answers

**Q: What if the back of the bowl or platter isn't flat but has ridges?  Will the disc adhere?  What is the weight limit?**
A: The plate hanger won't adhere to the plate if it's sitting up on the ridges. You can get two plate hangers that will fit on either side of the ridges and use picture frame wire between them. 1.25 inch hanger will hold approximately 1/2 pound, and the others will hold a pound per inch of plate hanger. **Q: will these hold items with metal surfaces?**
A: The manufacturer no longer recommends them for metal surfaces.

**Q: I have some bakelite mirrors I want to hang and have been looking for something to use, I'm thinnking these might work well on them, what do you think**
A: I cannot say for sure with the mirrors you want to hang, I can only speak from my experience.  I hung three different plates, following all instructions to a "T".  All three plates fell off the wall within a week.  I wanted these discs to work so badly, so now I'll be giving them away at my next garage sale letting people know that they can try them for free, but I can't guarantee they'll work!  I do hope you have better luck.

**Q: Will they adhere to metal?**
A: I'm not sure. I've always attached it to china. I would try it and give it 24 to dry thoroughly before hanging it. The only time I had a problem was in a humid area. It came unglued.
