I am very impressed with this kitchen island. I purchased two of them: one serves as a kitchen island and the other as a storage table and shelf. I do not have enough cabinet space, so these pieces have been a perfect solution. They provide both storage and a functional workspace without taking up too much room. The pictures and description on the listing are accurate. The quality is excellent, and the hardwood top looks beautiful in person. Assembly was easy and took less than an hour. It arrived quickly and was packaged extremely well, with all parts and hardware included, so there were no delays or missing components. Overall, this is a lovely and practical addition to any kitchen. It offers durability, attractive design, useful extra storage, and thoughtful packaging, making it a purchase I am very pleased with.

Love the price, style, and size. After much searching we decided to try this prep table despite the mixed reviews. Shortly after moving into our new home we realized we needed something to make cooking/prepping a little easier as the main counter space is far from the stove. We did not however want to pay over $200. Pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness and expect it to last a few years until we can (hopefully) redo our kitchen. It's very light and easy to move but not rickety at all. The style can fit easily in any decor and holds up to chopping and mixing (not directly on board, must use cutting board). If you are tall it's a great work height. Slightly taller than normal counter height. It would make a great coffee/drink bar too if not using as an island. Assembly is easy, only about an hour and that includes unboxing and throwing away trash afterwards. After putting a lot of furniture together lately, I've learned to use wood glue. I did use wood glue on the parts with wood dowels to add some stability, but you probably don't need to. All the screws fit nice and snug. The put-together furniture Gods were in our favor as there was no issues with damage/holes/alignment/missing parts etc. Took off a star for the drawer like others have said, it sucks. Ours works but it's very shallow. I am using it for pot holder storage. Yes, it does have a weird odor of wet paint out of the box, but it went away in about a day. All in all this is a great buy. Amazon had it cheapest at the time we purchased, but a lot of other home sites carry it, so definitely shop around to make sure you get the lowest price.

Great quality for a solid wood island of this price. Most similarly priced islands aren’t. It’s well made and easy to assemble. The wood top is beautiful and the piece didn’t have any strong, bad fumes when new, which is good since it’s meant for the kitchen. The white paint was a little thin at spots, showing the wood underneath a bit, but understandable given the price. Great for adding counter or food prep space to a kitchen. The drawer is a good size for large relatively flat objects.

Pros: --Excellent quality solid wood base and top. --Easy to put together* --Very sturdy --Despite many negative reviews, the drawer fit together perfectly and into the unit perfectly --Beautiful & functional Cons: --*Instructions could have been clearer, especially for assembling the drawer, which I assembled backwards the first time & had to take apart and reassemble. Overall, this took me (69-year-old 90-pound female) only about an hour to assemble by myself. --Drawer catches on something when sliding out. I have to lift it slightly to pull it all the way out --A little taller (height) than I would like by about 1 to1.5 inches, but this is not a bad thing for everyone. I'm only 5 feet tall. --Would have preferred an option of black base with butcher-block top, but the dark cherry top on this unit is beautiful, just not my preference. Overall, I love this unit. I've been looking for an island for about 4 months, and finally decided on this one because it is the perfect size for my kitchen, got good reviews, and is made of solid wood. It competes with units I saw in person for twice this price at Ikea. I have brand-new laminate floors, so I put felt pads under each leg to protect my floors in the event I want to move the unit.

I love this island, very well build. I was pleasantly surprised that this was so easy to put together. It is all wood, no particle board, and was engineered perfectly so that all the parts fit together nicely. I would recommend having a rachet to make the process easier and faster, the allen wrench works but is time consuming.

This is perfect. Got it to store the microwave and my stand mixer. The shelves allow me to store baskets of various items and the draw is large and deep, but not high. However, I can fit my scales, rolling pin and other items. Very sturdy item and looks great. I am using it as shelving, but it is marketed as a Kitchen Island. I got the black/cherry. The top is more of a furniture finish, and I would not be comfortable using it as a working counter. Even with a cutting board I am not sure if spills would ruin the finish. For the use I wanted though, it is exactly what I had hoped. My husband put it together and did not complain, LOL.

Great look (cherry top). Easy to assemble. Been using for 2 months. Solid & stable, both shelves loaded. Good size, probably more convenient if placed against a wall. Drawer for small non-heavy stuff only. Only issue with delayed delivery .

A lot more solid then expected. Price went up after we purchased ours. Would not buy at present price.

Overall, fine for what you pay for, though I suspect you would get better value from Ikea. Sadly, with such good reviews here I didn't bother to check other options. The shelves fragile and doesn't seem sturdy enough to hold 50lbs as stated in their ad, I doubt the structure can hold 100lbs as advertised.

Use the island for a coffee/ tea / toaster area in our kitchen and the bottom shelving is perfect for storing our chrome pots and pans. A nice decorative and practical island.

Overall, good value for the price. Top is very nice quality and beautiful. But the rest is made of cheap wood that splits easily. I had three splits while putting it together despite the holes being aligned and not over tightening. I used wood glue to fix it and hopefully it will be ok. White finish is very sheer, damages easy and not very washable. I put a coat of polycrilic to ease cleaning and hopefully, protect it a bit better. Many reviews mentioned issues with drawer but I had no problem with it. Overall, for the price I paid, I am happy with it. It's a nice size, looks good and was easily put together, even if the quality is kind of meh.
