Its pretty good, linked it to my bluetooth bulb easily, super easy setup, no hassle, and after it just is perfect, you can set scenes, control brightness and also turn it off and on you're smart light without getting a smart switch that you have to drill and connect wires.

I bought this after buying the hue starter kit and had issues again with QR codes not scanning or just not being there... but again the alternative method for pairing worked just fine so not really an issue. Once the remote was paired it worked perfectly and the lights change immediately on button presses. The customisation options of each button via the hue app is really handy and allows you to set the remote up to do what you want. The pre configured settings out the box are pretty good already so didn't actually change anything but just having that option is really nice! Simplifies use for those in your household who dont want to have to download apps or find their phones to control things or for later at night when you don't want to wake people up with voice assistants. The remote itself is magnetic so can be stuck to anything metal which makes it really handy. The magnet is fairly strong and can easily hold its own weight without sliding about. The holder it comes with comes with some 3M sticky tape attached or can be mounted with screws for a more permanent fixture. For the price this is a no brainer. Quality product that integrates in to your bridge setup at a very reasonable price. I'll 100% be picking a few more of these up in the future!

I recently added the Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer Switch V2 to my smart home setup, and it has been a game-changer. The installation was a breeze; the included adhesive allowed me to mount it on the wall without any hassle, and the magnetic base makes it easy to remove and use as a remote control. The dimmers would be the best available but there's one issue I've noticed which is tapping the top corners of the on off button doesn't register as a press sometimes, the same doesn't really happen on the bottom corners though there's too much flex room at the top so you can miss hit the light and need to do it again. Fine for you to remember, but not for all your guests which is the main reason for having dimmers paired with smart lights. Slightly cheap clicking noise and the magnet could be stronger as well but you get what you pay for I guess. I stilll chose to use them throughout though as they're cheap to deploy, work great there hasn't been any issues sending the commands when a button is hit properly, detach from the wallplate to carry around and multiple configurable functions with single press, and press and hold on the main buttons. To cover old light switches as I didn't want these next to them and have lights possibly disconnected by people using the wrong one, and for aesthetic reasons I installed IYOKI Hue plates over my existing switches which these dimmers hold on with magnets as well.

Great addition to a smart home. Initially bought just to be able to wirelessly turn my sitting room smart bulb on and off, but has now been programmed with some different brightness's and colours. Functionally it is great, and once you get used to using short and long presses, it becomes almost intuitive. For having magnets in it, it is quite light, there is another version that fits over the existing light switch, but this one is fit to the wall next to the existing one nicely. Connecting it to our home hub was nice and quick as it connected and was recognised right away.

I picked up this switch back in March 2023 to use with my then-new Hue lights that I have set up in my living room and it has been working perfectly ever since. I did use this with the native Philips Hue app (which was very easy to set up and use) for a few years but recently switched everything to HomeKit and it’s still working with no issues, well except with HomeKit, you do loose dimmer functionality though I’ve replaced that with scene switchers that do a similar thing. Looks very smart but blends in too. The wall attachment just sticks with sticky pads (though you can screw them in if wanted). It hasn’t fallen off in the 3 years I’ve had it. Very reliable and handy remote with great battery life and good connectivity. I think this is great value for money and a must have for any Hue lights owner.

These are amazing! We went with the Philips hue system after a recommendation from a friend. Once you get one, you realise you want them all over the house! I use this In my gaming room and can control 4 or 5 lights with it alongside some hue strip behind the tv. The main benefit is once configured, the bottom button lets you scroll through different lighting “scenes” you’ve saved. So one press switches focus onto the tv backlight, and softens the colours and brightness elsewhere, so I can relax and watch tv. Need to work at the desk… just tap the button once more and the whole room lighting scheme changes and now I have a decent bright work station. Easy to set up, use and batteries last absolutely ages. Literally can’t fault this!

I bought 3 hue switches, one of them stopped working after just 8 months of usage. Impossible to open battery case.
