NutriFlair Ceylon Cinnamon (1200mg/Serving,120 Capsules)

This stuff is pure magic! I was sceptical at first, but now I religiously take between 2-6 pills/day (2 pills 20-30 min before meals, especially meals higher in carbs; also, I take these at the same time as Sports Research Turmeric Curcumin pills [also awesome!] which contain organic coconut oil, as some type of fat or oil makes cinnamon more bioavailable!). My blood sugar levels are now PERFECT. I also use these for weight loss—in Aug of 2016, I weighed 265 lbs at 5'5" and I now have LOST 120 lbs: I'm down to 145 lbs eight months later (I'm a 34-year-old female with PCOS, an endocrine disease that predisposes you to obesity, glucose and blood sugar issues, plus a higher risk of diabetes). I'm not saying JUST the cinnamon did it: I worked my tail off with healthy eating habits, regular HIIT cardio, running and strength training—but I truly believe this Ceylon Cinnamon did IN PART contribute to my success. And if it's just "belief," that's fine with me, too! Lol. Whatever works, but this stuff does have science to back its claims, and it's used in many other cultures whose people have WAY lower rates of diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, obesity, etc.I've tried other brands but keep coming back to NutriFlair because comparatively speaking, for the quantity of cinnamon per pill and the amount of pills you receive, plus their high quality (they even taste yummy if you open and sprinkle the capsules on food or in drinks—a lighter, more subtle Cinnamon flavor) these are a much better deal than most Ceylon companies offer, on Amazon or elsewhere. I'm talking about *Ceylon Cinnamon from Sri Lanka ONLY*—"regular" Cinnamon (Cinnamon cassia) will NOT provide the same benefits and in fact can be hazardous taken in large quantities. So don't try to cheap out and use grocery store spice rack cinnamon. You won't be getting enough, A), and B), it won't work and could even harm you. Try NutriFlair and Ceylon Cinnamon if you're looking for stabilized blood sugar, circulatory relief, or help with fasting. I find it also suppresses appetite and sugar/bread cravings! Great product, I have been using this for several years to help keep my blood sugar levels down and I do believe this is doing that for me. It has no bad taste at all and is easy to swallow with no stomach upset and contributes I believe to my energy level.

Lowers blood sugar

While this product certainly does help me lower and control my blood sugar it's recently come to attention that Ceylon cinnamon can contain unhealthy levels of lead and other heavy metals which is naturally found in the soil where it is typically sourced from. The makers of this product claim that this cinnamon is third party tested but I have no idea what it is tested for since it appears that they are not openly transparent about the results of their testing. I'm not comfortable continuing to use this product, regardless of it's benefit, unless the results this testing are easily available and customers made aware where they can be found.

It's a wonderful "natural" supplement that helps control my Blood pressure and Cholesterol!
