It drove the bats in our attic nuts and they all got out of there! Vaccuumed up the bat guano so we could track whether the bats had returned. Went a whole year with no bats. Then, heard a "clicking" noise from the supersonic speaker. Then a little later two clicking noises (from both speakers). Then, guano. Been managing with cinnamon/thyme spray and moth balls, but trying to keep them out of the attic is a job. Verdict: It works great until it doesn't, and apparently it can't take the heat in my super-scorcher of an Attic in Missouri.
