I recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Somewhere Your Feelings are still Alive *by C***A on January 18, 2014* Great book for healing years of suppressed anger, angst, anxiety, trauma, joy, pride, and a whole gamut of emotions we never seemed to feel throughout life. Well worth the time to read about how to uncover and face all those feelings we thought we had buried deep in our psyche. Unleash the demons and face the trauma and move on with your life. It is not a fun process and I highly recommend cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) - talking to a professional who can guide you through this often emotionally painful process. Takes years to face the past but once faced, processed, expressed, cleansed, and healed…the new evolving self that you discover is such a beautiful person you must learn to love. I discovered I was an addict (not of drugs but other things). I attended AAA all addicts meetings and the 12-step program to where I now celebrate 5 years of non-compulsive, non-narcissistic, non-perfectionist, non-addicted sobriety with many more years to come. Buried feelings brought to the surface in force and with gusto have healed my anger, angst, anxiety, compulsions, binges, and depressive tendencies. Now I do a “feeling” check every day constantly making sure I FEEL FEELINGS in the NOW and process them as my therapist taught me and I taught myself. Awareness is the key once these feelings are resurrected. Like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, so must feelings rise up to be recognized, celebrated, and atomized into the universe. Great reading. It was written just for you so read it and discover a new happier YOU embedded in your soul and self. Whew.
