Root Touch-Up Permanent Hair Dye, 6A Light Ash Brown

It’s not covering the grey completely but it makes the hair shiny and looking healthy

This is my go-to for quick root touch-ups. I have dark brown hair and the shade blends really well, covering greys effectively without looking harsh or obvious. What I like most is how easy and fast it is to use. Everything is included in the box (gloves, colourant and developer), you just mix and apply, leave for around 10 minutes, then rinse. It’s very convenient if you don’t want to spend time or money at the salon. A useful tip: I don’t need the full amount each time, so I usually use about half and save the rest for another touch-up a few weeks later. That makes it very good value for money. The only thing to be careful with is application — it can stain surfaces if it drips or touches the sink/shower, so make sure to rinse everything straight away. Otherwise it can be difficult to remove. Overall, very effective, quick, and great value. I keep coming back to it.

Ich habe das Root Touch-Up gekauft, um eine kleine Stelle mit weißen Haaren am Ansatz gezielt zu färben, ohne direkt die ganze Haarfarbe anzumischen – und genau dafür ist es perfekt. Die Farbe lässt sich sehr präzise und sparsam anmischen, sodass man wirklich nur die Menge verwendet, die man braucht. Das Ergebnis wirkt natürlich und weich, nicht blockig oder „aufgemalt“. Weiße Haare werden deutlich abgedeckt, ohne dass der Ansatz hart oder künstlich aussieht. Besonders positiv: • ideal für punktuelles Nachfärben • sparsam im Verbrauch (reicht für viele Anwendungen) • natürliches Ergebnis, auch bei feinem Haar • kein sichtbarer Übergang zum restlichen Haar Einzelne sehr feine Haare können je nach Auftrag minimal heller bleiben, was ich persönlich sogar als Vorteil empfinde, da das Ergebnis dadurch realistisch und nicht maskenhaft wirkt. Ich habe Vorher-/Nachher-Fotos hochgeladen – der Unterschied ist klar zu sehen. Für alle, die nicht ständig komplett färben wollen, sondern gezielt und kontrolliert nachbessern möchten, absolut empfehlenswert.

If you are just having a parting and by the ears touch up then this Clairol Root Touch up might suffice. My colour was still nice and my parting was a light silver but I had a few centimeters of dark grey roots starting to appear. Easy to use, but a very small quantity. I ideally need twice the amount. Which is annoying because the minimum order for this product was 2 boxes. I won't order this product again, if like me, you have a full head of roots, you are better off buying a full colour and follow the instructions for root touch up.. You also have the bonus of a nice conditioner to finish, unlike this touch up kit. I left it on longer, but you can see on my photos it hasn't done the job. You can see in my clip its an easy product to use and only a tiny amount. It caused no adverse effects, other than my original dark roots remained!
