Review: Good variety - It's a very good assortment that is good to have colors on hand for mending or small crafts. They can be used on a machine but I'm more likely to use the thread in hand sewing for button replacement or fixing seams and tears. The set includes most any shade you could want, though for my purposes I'd swap some oranges for better variety in shades of purple and mid to light blue.
