I use this loop to view the nibs on my fountain pens. It has worked well for that purpose and the built in light has been very helpful. The magnification is fine as is the clarity. Seems well built and I’ve had no issues with it.

These are very well made and work great! They do have a significant weight to them. The two kinds of lights are nice. However, my husband doesn't like the weight in his pant pocket. It'd be nice it they had been made with a much lighter alloy, but had the same quality .

Purchased this 40X lighted loop. Works ok, but you are only 1/2" away from the object being viewed. That was too close for me to view bumps on the skin of my dog. Couldn't see anything but the hair on her skin, not the bump at all. Very dissatisfied with purchase. Now will cost me 2X what loop is worth to send back. Better to buy from Amazon direct and not a third party.
