Fits well on hydroflask! You do lose the ability to keep cold water colder as the original lid allowed ice cubes to stay well in the bottle overnight. Still I love this as a replacement over the original hydroflask lid

DONT BUY THIS! This cap is poorly made. Mine broke in the second use. The cap to the spout is not 1 solid molded piece. The Center threads that keep the spout cap screwed on is a separate part that is just glued inside of the cap. I screwed the cap shut and the threads to the cap twisted right off.

Perfect fit for my ThermalFlask 40. I went back and forth as to which lid replacement to buy and am so glad I went with this one. Drinks remain very cold. I do not use it for hot drinks so I wouldn't know. Love the bottle and really did not want to buy another one, lid is awesome. Seems to be very strongly made, would definitely buy again. Been only 2 weeks but great so far

Purchased as a replacement chute type cap for a Kathleen Klean 40oz OEM cap. Kathleen Klean shares the same cap diameter as hydro flask. Pic1 lower left OEM Kathleen cap.. takeya chute installed. And no the oem cap does not have a spout. You need to manually unscrew the lid to drink. This cap does not leak at all unless the cap is slightly open. I do not notice any weird flavors to the liquids from this cap. Even with a chute cap vacuum temperature retention still seems consistent and losses are minimal. Product details Takeya Cap twist off cap which covers the chute style opening. No straw to clean like on some of those hydroflask replacements. Plastic tab attached by a metal pin to the cap to assist carrying bottle. The grey area is a rubber like material which assists twisting off the lid when filing water or cleaning. >see pic 2 takeya with cap open. When the cap is open, it is stiff and holds its place extending as far as the carrying tab > see pic 3 takeya with cap closed Pros: Chute style, no leaks, no weird flavors from cap, Vacuum temps are still retained and relatively constant, no back wash when drinking chute never touches my lips. Cons: due to weight tab handle may break (40oz) when filled up. (I hold it from the tab and bottom with two hands). I noticed some condensation on the outer black top circular cap surrounding the chute the OEM never did this.
