This has been so great for getting our kids comfortable on the slopes. Just purchased our second one because it worked so great with our now 4-year old (she started using it at 2). She still feels more comfortable having it on, and our 2 year old would go for it with or without the harness, but I like that I can keep him within 5 feet of me. The harness is easy to put on, works great on bunny hills, greens and the easiest blues (we haven't tried anything more), feels safe and strong - it has never slipped or ripped. Our kids say it's comfortable. Stores up pretty small, and the fit is fine for 2-4 in our experience. Does not seem like fit will be a problem through 5 or 6 if our oldest still wants to wear it. Allows us to teach ski basics and overall has made skiing really fun for our family. Worth the price!

This was perfect for our 4yr olds first time skiing! We used it to pull her with first on flat ground to help her learn how to stand, and then when she had the hang of that we went up and she went down the mountain like this! The quality was great, and we loved that the straps were adjustable and removable to different places too! It was great quality and worked perfectly for us! For a momma that was a nervous wreck about her falling, and getting hurt, or going to fast down the mountain and crashing into someone/something - I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with a young kiddo!! It made our trip enjoyable for everyone and even helped our daughter feel safe too!

This product is very well built and it worked for us. This was only my second time at the slopes with 5 y.o. my daughter. The first time I was mostly hand holding her on my side. When I first told her we were going to use this on our second time, she was reluctant as she thought it would be step backwards. We talked more, showed her the video and agreed to just give it a try and decide together if we were going to use it further. We tried it and the result was amazing! It gave her enough freedom and easily allowed me to keep her speed reasonable. Consider I am a very novice skier, I'm in my forties and have only been in the slopes like five times in my life. We spent the whole day using it, during a break she made a point to tell how happy she was I had gotten it. For me, it gave me the ability to enjoy the day skiing with good posture and help her build confidence. I hope soon we won't need it anymore, for now, this makes me look forward to continue to go out to the mountain.

I have 3 year old twins and these have been the best way to get on the slopes with the kids. You have enough control to subtly direct them or slow their falls which I wasn’t expecting to be so nuanced. Both I and my father-in-law love using them. That is until today. My FiL was with my daughter and the plastic loop connecting the elastic/harness connector shattered mid route while guiding her into a turn causing a small fall. He tied the two pieces together to get down the hill but it doesn’t leave me with a lot of confidence in the other 3 straps. It could be hacked using a carabiner but an upgrade to metal hardware or oversized plastic would be worthwhile. The only other critique I could give is the strap attachment to the harness worn by the child is impossible to remove for riding lifts without taking off your gloves and even then it is fiddly. That’s probably fine out west with the long runs but in the east I am doing this every 10 minutes so by the end of the day my finger is a little sore. Still I would but it again. Best money I’ve spent on training, lessons included.

We bought this Ski Harness Trainer for our 4-year-old’s first time on the slopes and it was a huge success! The handle was incredibly helpful for lifting him onto and off the chair lift. Getting off the lift can be tricky with little kids, but I was able to hold the harness the entire time and we got off smoothly every ride and it actually helped him learn what he was supposed to do. On the hill, it kept him close while still letting him practice steering and controlling himself. And as a parent, the peace of mind is priceless. If he started heading somewhere he shouldn’t, I could slow him down or stop him before a fall or accident. It was used all weekend and for many trips up and down the mountain and it still holds up great! I would store the straps in my kiddos hood of his coat when going up the lift so they would not get caught! It made learning safer, less stressful, and way more fun for both of us. 10/10 reccomend!

In the past with my older kids I had the basic ski harness straps. They'd get tangled and ended up being a mess and hassle to use. This past weekend I took my 2 year old skiing with this new harness and was surprise how well it was built. I really like the elastic part that connect to the vest. It helped with controlling their speed but without jerking the child back. The loops around the waist to help control the direction your child skis worked great! I was surprise how much control I had. It took me a few minutes to adjust all the straps and I wish I had done that before being on the mountain. The second day was super easy to put on and start skiing. Over all I am very happy with this product and purchase!

The chest strap is way too high on the shoulder straps, at least for our daughter’s size. When you try to pick the child up by the back handle, the chest strap slides up with the harness and grabs bottom of chin/neck area. If the harness got snagged on anything like a chairlift, the chest strap could possibly cause a major injury. This is simply not safe. The harness quality is good, but the design is poor. The chest strap is simply not safe and should not be on the harness or worn. The waist strap slides up (no leg straps to keep in place) and the chest strap catches the child’s neck area. Without the chest strap, at least the waist strap would catch under the arms instead of the load being placed around the neck/jaw from the chest strap. After recognizing the issue, I went back realized the manufacturer provided videos on Amazon even show the chest strap rising up to the kids neck/jaw area.

Great accessory for small one learning to ski

The idea of this harness is absolutely fantastic however the quality of the plastic clips on the reins is very poor. My 5 year old daughter was wearing this and the plastic clips between the bungee cord and the restraint strap snapped on the mountain. If my older son was not in front of her she would have lost control and been put in a position of danger. I would have thought that the components would have been tested beyond general use on something like this

Je n'ai pas dévalé des fortes pentes avec un petit bout de 3 ans mais quand celui-ci ne voulait plus être tenu par les bras, ce systeme m'a permi de lui faire descendre une piste d''apprentissage en courant derrière, c'est top et pas lourd ni encombrant. Par contre la poignée pour les soulever dans le dos ça ne marche pas terrible avec des petits gabarits en tout cas. Je recommande tout de même car ça va suivre pour des années

Bought two to teach our 6 and 3 year olds to ski. They work so well and the boys love them too. Highly recommend
