I use these in Trail Cameras which on pic settings I use take three pics in a set and I have set for 5 Megapixels . Camera circuits power a detection circuit also and pointed into the woods if winds blow will shoot limb movement (repeated every 3 seconds). I have one set in one camera that has taken over 60000 pics and still show full on the battery check window. Looks like they are going to last longer than regular Alkaline batteries plus they also have a very long shelf life. In another camera set for 45 second AVIs plus one pic, Ive had 2000 taken then showing dead. However only one battery was actually dead,(or nearly so) replaced it and got another 2000 pics and AVIs. These pics and AVIs were taken in fairly cold weather too. So they do last longer for my use in those cameras, which is the type of application they are designed for. They aren't intended for flashlight use etc. but high drain rapid repeat use. For my trail Cameras I will continue to use them, especially during cold weather. For general flashlight use I use rechargable or Alkaline batteries.
