I am a button accordeon beginner, please suggest the right height of music stand. Thank you very much.

Hi: This stand is the perfect height for me as I use it to play pedal steel guitar and lap steel guitar while seated. So if you play while seated it should work well for you also.

How tall does it get?

My stand is at church. It is a great height for a seated guitarist, I play pedal steel. I am guessing the M48 might mean that the top of the music rack is 48" from the floor when fully extended. If you go the the Manhasset website I believe you will find the info. I'd glady give you the answer if I had the stand at home.

At it's shortest, what is the height from floor to the top of the stand?

About 32" when the top of the desk is vertical to the floor.
