These are sweet tart and make your dry mouth water, and keep a tickly throat wet. I keep them on hand especially for those times at the end of a cold when my throat tickles from drainage, but I can't keep drinking to take the tickle away. Sometimes I eat them at church when we are singing, because my mouth is habitually dry. I feel like it's a "beneficial" candy. Yes they are sweet with sugar. I LOVE sugar!
