Ticonderoga Wood-Cased Pencils, Pre-Sharpened, 2 HB Soft, Yellow, 72 Count

There is only one pencil that is worth having in a classroom and that is Ticonderoga. All other pencils - and I mean ALL OTHER pencils do not measure up. Ticonderoga has the best erasers, sharpen the smoothest, last the longest, and are the best quality. Even though you will spend a little more per pencil, they are worth it because you will throw the others out due to their poor quality. I wish Ticonderoga made pencil top erasers. If they did, I could use the pencil longer. Students erase a lot and once the eraser is gone, I prefer to start with a new pencil. Why would you have any other brand? Buy Ticonderoga. Period!

These are the best pencil you will ever use. I only wish they’d make a mechanical version, I’m sure it would be fantastic.

I never thought anything much about pencils other than when I was in grade school but I got a job at a warehouse where I have to fill out receiving orders and its some math involved so using pencils is a must. I was going through pencils like crazy. I press hard when I write and it makes the lead break causing a lot of sharpening.and the other pencils would alway sharpen on one side not the other. The lead in these pencils don't break like other ones. They sharpen evenly everytime. I really didn't know that there were any real noticeable differences in pencils until this job but these are hands down the best I have used and I have used many. They are a little bit more expensive than most others but a couple extra bucks are well worth not having to deal with breaking pencils my entire shift. I know I'm not the only one who likes using them because it makes my coworkers turn thieves!! I can spot my pencils by the green band at the top and have to go around collecting them from time to time!
