Great bats for throwing plates , however if you throw really wet and leave large plates on the bat to pop off by their selves they do tend to warp. To remedy this you can try wetting the other side then letting them dry on their sides , but I found its better to soak them in warm water for 2 min orso and then dry them on a flat surface and stack some weight on top of them. You won't have the warping problem with bots and bowls too much ( at least i dont) unless you throw extremely wet.

Well, was very psyched about the wonderBat, making some plates.Read about them, they seemed perfect. After my first plate the bat was too warped to put back on the wheel head. Now I am trying to do everything to correct the problem, but this is not what I want to be spending my time on. Would not recommend.

Love this! It is sturdy and doesn't warp. It does create a little hand friction with grog but that is avoidable with technique. I am definitwly purchasing more of these.

Loved how well it worked when I first used it, but after allowing a large platter to dry to leather hard so I could remove it, found that the bat had warped. I ended up drilling the holes all the way through so I can still use it upside down. The rubber grommets make the fit on the bat pins nice and tight, but next time I will just buy the cheaper ones with the through holes so I can flip them if they become warped

At first I loved these bats... Until they warped. I bought them in September didn't use them 'til March and by June they were all three warped... One I had returned for warping and it is now warped too. I do not recommend.

A perfect fit, and the rubber o-ring inserts lock it securely to my wheel's mounting screws. No wobble at all, makes centering very easy.

After a few uses, these bats tend to warp slightly making any further use of them rather frustrating.

I had to return my first order because of a large scrape in the working surface of this bat.
