Review: Compared to all magnifiers, the full-size Juliet 4x is a great value imo - After endless hours of obsessing over different specs and pros and cons and handling in person, my search concluded with either the Holosun HM3X or the Juliet 4x. Micros suck, only go the full size models. The HM3X glass is incredible and looked better than even the Eotech G33 I experimented with in person. Unfortunately like the reviews you’ve read, the HM3X mount does not feel like it will last. Opening the Juliet 4x box you notice how much more solid everything is about the magnifier housing and the mount feels rock solid. They market this as their “PowerCam” mount and it seems to be quality. Most people will say 3x is the sweet spot but I agree with the sentiment that if the weight is going to be added at all, I appreciate the extra magnification. Anything beyond 4x however did not feel usable at higher speed shooting but maybe for stationary work. Even checking out the other brands I didn’t feel like the value proposition was there. The Eotech magnifiers were slightly sturdier but not enough to warrant the cost imo. I’m very happy with this guy but if Holosun makes a 2.0 version of the HM3X they will give SIG a run for their money being half (!!!) the price.
Review: Excellent Full-Size Duty Rifle Red Dot -- Very Affordable Compared to Trijicon or Aimipoint - I've put this on 16" barrel 5.56x45mm NATO, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend AR-15s. The 30mm objective combined with unlimited eye relief is a welcome change admitting much more light and giving a wider view compared to sights with a 20-22mm objective such as the Romeo5 and Romeo7S. In spite of the battery compartment, it has very little clutter on the sides or top to obscure situational awareness view around it. The next closest in the 1X red dots I've used is the 25mm objective on a Primary Arms MD-25 ACSS. Its design is nearly a clone of the Aimpoint Comp M4. Housing is very durable and definitely not fragile. Red dot is crisp and its brightness adjustment range spans all the levels of lighting range I've encountered, indoors and out. Set to an appropriate level for the ambient lighting, I've never had to hunt for the dot. Parallax is nil. Dot stays on target. I don't have NODS, and cannot speak to its night vision settings. Automatically turns itself off if left idle for a couple minutes and comes back to life immediately when picked up, without any delay. Comes with honeycomb front filter to prevent objective reflection back toward target, and helps deal with glare from bright light sources in front of sight. Presence does not noticeably reduce light coming through. Quick release works well and is easily adjusted for proper tension. I've not lost zero when properly installing and reinstalling it in the same location on the rifle rail. Size and Rail Real Estate: This is a full-size sight, with the corresponding weight of one, especially with its battery and its beefy, very durable housing. Its length will consume a sizeable part of the upper receiver rail. If combined with a magnifier, depending on magnifier length, the magnifier may interfere with a BUIS, even if the Romeo7 is put as far forward on the receiver rail as possible (it should not extend out onto the barrel shroud rail, if there is one over the barrel). I've combined it with a full size Juliet 3 (not the Micro), and it fits, but the BUIS cannot be deployed unless the Juliet is flipped to the side out of the way. The rail will be crowded. Those for whom weight is the highest priority should look at smaller, more compact and micro optics. Its 30mm objective with its benefits and optical train are a tradeoff with size and weight (e.g. Romeo4 or Romeo5).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this red dot have a 3 moa or a 2 moa? i'm pretty sure they're only made with a 2 moa but your advertisement says 3**
A: The sight has a 2-MOA dot. The Amazon listing description is incorrect.

**Q: Good day.. i would like to inquire about the sig sauer 7 romeo red dot 3 rail gun scope if it can be directly shipped from us to my home address here**
A: Many weapons sights are not allowed to be shipped outside of the USA. ITAR has the rules and regs and which countries.

There are 30 countries to which you can export telescopic, holographic, reflex, red dot and reticle sight, other sighting devices that contain optical elements, laser aiming devices and laser illuminators — which are classified in ECCN 0A504.a through 0A504.f – without an export license. An approved export license is required for exports to all other countries, including Canada.

**Q: What would be a good qd mount for this?**
A: The Romeo 7 I purchased came with a QD mount for the 1913 Piccatany rail.

**Q: Is the reticle etched?**
A: This scope is a red dot. Etched reticles are on prism scopes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good gear Get it!
*by J***M on April 14, 2025*

What should you know? Simple this is a good piece of gear. Many years ago I started out with an M 16 A1 times have changed dramatically. My first real red dot was a Aimpoint. It never failed me when I was bouncing around on Amazon I came across the Romeo seven. Very similar to an aim point this one for the cost was certainly worth it. You don’t need to What did I like well, the simplicity of mounting it was easy. It came with scope caps with the kill flash for the front objective rugged as hell and it’s reasonably priced. If you want a red dot that is clean and uncluttered, this is the one for you? I’m very happy with my purchase and maybe buy a second one for another rifle. Pos: a one stop red dot scope for rifles. Appears to be very rugged, ease of installation on your rails and lastly, it’s not ridiculously over-the-top expensive!
