I really want to know how to keep this hygienic. We have three kittens and I bought one of this at first to see how they like it. I eventually had to get three because they loved it and always went to sleep on the scratchers. They rarely used it for scratching though. My kittens have grown quite a bit now but they still snuggle on it, they just happen to fill up all the space now. Con: I recently realised that it traps dirt and is a breeding group for ticks/fleas. My kittens were itching often these past few weeks, and I think I finally figured out it was because of the trapped fleas/ticks in these beds! Recently when I tried to clean all the fur on it by flipping it on the floor and patting. Shockingly, so many tiny tick like things fell out of it, along with sandy grains. My cats do go outdoors, and I bathe them once every two weeks as-well and they never had this issue until recently- until the ticks likely infested the bed. I’m not sure how to fix this issue, will contact the supplier to see how to clean it since cardboard cannot be wet. For now, I have removed the items and isolated it. But I really wish to clean and give them back to my cats because they really do miss sleeping on it! My advice is if you buy it, regularly flip and smack all the dust, dirt , or fur out. I only vacuumed the top until now, but you need to really hit the dirt out. If you don’t do this but have an outdoorsy cat too, then you will be in for a ticky situation.

My cat absolutely loves this scratcher! I was so impressed after seeing how much he enjoyed the first one that I bought a second. He’s made it very clear which one is for scratching and which one is for sleeping — he scratches one enthusiastically and treats the other like his personal bed. It's adorable how mindful he is about it. Great quality and definitely recommend.

At first sight, the quality seems good but the cardboard quickly damaged and the two pieces separated as the design is foldable.

Very sturdy compared to previous beds I've bought. Cats love to lie on it and it seems just rhe right size. Even though they scratch, it seems to stay intact where other beds have literally came apart. Makes them feel safe.

J'achète ce type de griffoir parce que mes chats adorent s'y coucher comme dans des coussins; sinon, ils ont des griffoirs plus classiques pour un usage plus orthodoxe. Celui-ci est beau, avec une forme élégante. Je n'ai pas évalué la solidité car je j'ai depuis peu et qu'il n'est pas utilisé par mes chats pour leurs griffes, mais il est de texture serrée et dense et me semble donc très solide. Il est vraiment un cran au-dessus de ceux de ce type que j'achète en jardinerie/animalerie. Je recommande vivement.

My ragdoll cats love this. One loves to sleep in it and the other loves to use it as a claw scratcher. It's a bit pricey but the fact it's being well loved and used justifies it :-)

Doesn't look like it would be that comfortable, but our daughter's cat, Boswell, loves it! The oval shape lets him stretch out just enough, while still being small enough to make him feel cozy.
