Gardzen 30 Pack 6-Cell Seed Trays

Great quality and sturdy. Just note that they are slightly bigger than the standard 6-packs you get from the garden store. This means that they do not fit properly in the aftermarket tray you can buy to hold them. I've tried a few of the big trays on Amazon and these 6-pack containers will not all fit as described in the tray description because they are slightly too big.

I purchased this product about a month or so ago and needed more. I was happy enough with the product that I re-ordered the exact same thing. The plastic feels a little on the flimsy side, but I have not had any breaks or cracks and being "flimsy," I find the seedlings are easier to remove for transplanting than other similar products. I water from the bottom and the drainage holes are adequate to allow absorption into my seed starting mix. I do find that the seed starting mix used makes a huge difference in seedling germination success. The commercial stuff with pieces of wood mulch in them are not great used in this product because there seems to be more wood chips than soil in the small space and doesn't allow for even moisture distribution.

Great value. Thinner than I expected, but they work. I would buy them again. Perfect for seed starting.

Perfect size and price. These are slightly bigger then most brands so it is a tight squeeze in a 10X20 tray. I love the fact that I can see the root action in them. They also work with my capillary mats for extended watering. They are very sturdy and easily cleaned up for using over and over. Most brands are made from a really flimsy plastic but not these. Will definitely order again when these wear out down the road.

Its a great price for these and they do work good. But you know what would make them a thousand times better? Make that hole on the bottom big enough for my finger! That way I can just push my baby cutie plant out. Try it and you'll see. If you do try it run your hole saw in reverse and it'll cut through way easier on this thin plastic. Good luck and happy planting!

The Gardzen 30 Pack 6-Cell Seed Starting Trays offer a solid, middle-of-the-road option for gardeners looking to start seedlings at home. With 30 trays included, you get plenty of cells to work with, making it a practical choice for starting multiple plants at once. One of the positives is the overall design. Each tray includes drainage holes that help prevent overwatering and support healthy root development, which is essential for successful germination. The cell size is also fairly adequate for early growth, giving seedlings enough space before they need to be transplanted. However, the quality of these trays feels average. While they’re described as durable and reusable plastic, they are on the thinner side, so they require careful handling to avoid bending or cracking over time. They work fine for a season or two, but may not hold up as well as heavier-duty trays. Another minor drawback is that they’re pretty basic—there are no lids, humidity domes, or extras included. For beginners, this might mean purchasing additional accessories to create the ideal growing environment. Overall, these trays get the job done and are a budget-friendly way to start seeds, especially for casual gardeners. They’re not the most heavy-duty or feature-rich option, but they provide a simple and functional starting point for growing seedlings.

Reusable and sturdy

Great set of starter trays. I grow everything by seed so these come in handy. Highly recommend

These are great! Heavy duty, thick plastic that’ll last a lot of seed starting seasons. Love that they’re clear, no more popping out starter plants to check the root system. I’ll be stocking up on a lot more of these.

As the description states, these are a little bigger so dont fit "perfectly" into the regular trays, but they are of a good quality, not cheapy.

These are EXTREMELY thin, so much so that you can see through the black plastic, they will not hold up to repeated use at all. Two stars since they're decent enough for a single use, but they are advertised as reusable and that is why I purchased them, so they are not fit for purpose. UPDATE: we had a warm day and they seem to have melted, and are now unusable, will be applying for a refund.

I think the holes in the bottoms would be better bigger, but, they work.

Bought twice, a good quality cell pack. Wash and reuse year after year. Cannot be left in a greenhouse all summer, they will melt
