Great tool set and must buy
Purchased in 2021 and I just used it for the 4th time 4 years later. This is a great set, simple instructions and easy to use. The Quality of the tools and the plugs are great. First time I used it, I took off the tire but the last 3 times I just did it while the tire was on the vehicle. The only thing I would add to the set would be a needlenose pliers to remove stubborn screws or nails and a good razor to cut the plug flush. I personally leave a bit longer than suggested only because I feel it will work its way deeper once the car is on the road and the tire is full.

Does the job!
I had a decent size nail, and the free tire repair place wouldn't fix it because they said the tread was too low and I need new tires. Spent 45 minutes there accomplishing nothing. Fixed the flat myself in about 10 minutes at home using this kit! I love the little nail removal tool. One thing to be aware of: the "reamer" tool is not abrasive at all. It will not remove any rubber by moving it in and out. If you have a weird shaped hole this might be bad, but it also means less damage to your steel belts, which is good. Since it didn't enlarge my hole, pushing the string in was HARD. I couldn't do it by hand, so I had a friend back my vehicle onto the string insertion tool. I used a stick to keep the handle from sliding. Maybe this wouldn't have been necessary if I removed the tire, so I could use my weight on top of the tire, but I opted to leave the wheel in place and fix the nail at the 4 o'clock position. A week later, 100 miles, and tire still holding pressure!

Get it before you need it.
I bought this tire repair kit over 3 years ago and had never opened it. Today I was very happy to have it in my garage. When I sat down in the car I was notified that a tire was flat. Yup, nail right into the tire. This kit had everything I needed to make the repair and get back on the road. A great plug insertion tool and even lubricant to insert the reamer tool and gloves . Highly recommended.

Great investment
The one thing that frustrates me when looking to purchase a new tool or anything for that matter is the fact that there are just so many choices. I end up spending hours reading reviews and comparing product details and prices, and I have found no way around it. What I do though is try and find the tool that will do the job for me at the lowest price. This is one of those tools. I do have a few "name" brand tools that I paid quite a bit more for, but these are tools I use daily. For items like this that I may use once or twice I look for budget and value. This kit has both. Everything I needed and more. Quality is more than adequate. Even if this broke on the second or third use I already got my money's worth. $10 less than a professional repair and I still have the kit. The repair is easy IF you make sure you let most of the air out of the tire. Otherwise, you have 32 pounds per square inch pushing back at you. No glue needed. Remove the tire to make it even easier. Its a good kit and a great value!

Harder than advertised, but worked on the first try
The kit was effective, and I would buy it again; but it wasn't quite was was implied. As some Q&A questions have mentioned, this kit doesn't come with pliers (which the instructions imply it should have). I also found the kit to be somewhat difficult to use, but that's just because the initial leak in my tire was too small. It was a pin-prick leak, losing about 10psi / week. With this size of a leak, I could fit the probe in, let alone the patch. I ultimately used a drill to slightly enlarge the hole, and then used the probe to make enough room for the patch; and this required a lot more physical strength than I would have expected. But one the patch was in, it appears to have worked immediately. It's now been 5 days, and the tire doesn't seem to have lost any pressure. In patching the tire, I used one of the ten patches, so presumably I'm set for quite a while. But otherwise, I would happily buy this patch kit again.

arrived quickly
Works well. Added hockey tape to the grip handles to not slide as much. The lubricant jar leaked a bit. The product worked well to seal the hole.

You don't need to overpay for it
It works, my fixed tire is OK for a couple of months now. But in fact, you most probably will not need 80% of the set content. BUT, the tools are much sturdiness compared to the tool from Walmart for 12 bucks. So, you decide.

it is as advertised
I have not used this yet, but it a great product for when on side x side trips. Gives you a little peace of mind that you can repair a flat if needed. I carry it in my truck when travelling for the same reason. it appears to be good quality.
