I love this flashlight! Puts out a ton of light! I mean a T-O-N of light! Allows you to keep you natural night vision and allows you to see around in the forest and back country well. We use this every time we go playing in the dark. Please don't point it at people faces, not funny and not cool. It hurts. Very powerful.

Love this flashlight. Easy to use and gives off great illumination. My job requires me to help children during their nap times in my clinic. Each child has their own individual nap room and it's very dark. I use this light to navigate the nap rooms and to check if children are asleep or not, so I can document their nap schedules. It doesn't bother or wake the children and I feel confident that I won't trip on something. It feels like a brighter version of a red-lit darkroom, for photography.

The good thing about this light is it has a good on/off switch on it, is well built, and is weather resistant. The picture gives you the impression it is a full-size flashlight; it IS NOT. It is only 6" long with a 2" face. The light has a plastic battery cartridge (like coast flashlights) that will crack and break under the tension of installed batteries. With its 3 AA batteries, it is under powered and dim even with NEW energizers. I use it up close to inspect my composting worm bins. Not even enough light hardly for that. The description says bright enough to take into the woods at night. The only thing I can think of to take this light into the woods for is to give it a decent burial.

Great for looking for Sea Turtles

I love this substantial flashlight and its red light. It is small enough to put in a pocket! It's heaviness gives me hope that it won't die in the dark. It's just bright enough to illuminate my path without disturbing shorebirds or sea turtles. And, it was not expensive. I'm thrilled with it!

Nothing exciting. Could definitely be brighter.

When it works it’s absolutely fine but - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. You end up having to fiddle with the thing twisting and turning it to get the light to come on. Not a problem if you have time to waste. I would have sent it back if I’d known before I threw away the packaging.
