Merrell Women's Sandspur Sandal

My new absolute favorite sandal for comfort and style. Makes my big feet look dainty and does not emphasize or hurt my bunion. Love the support. I wear a size 9.5 to 10 depending on brand, but based on reviews I ordered a 9 and it's perfect. These look good with shorts, jeans and sundresses. I'm going to purchase the black ones soon before they run out of my size.

Super comfortable, fit true to size for me (size 11), and although I consider these athletic sandals, I appreciate that they don't look quite as sporty as my other athletic sandals. I bought these specifically for a trip where I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking. I only gave these a couple quick trial walks around my neighborhood before the trip, but they easily carried me through 10-15 mile days on a range of surfaces (concrete, cobblestone, uneven dirt) without any pain, rubbing, etc. Pros: lightweight (especially compared to my Chacos), no rubbing/chafing from the straps, super comfortable footbed, good traction even on wet surfaces, no issues with the ankle irritation (the vertical strap that rises up below the outer ankle and connects to the back strap has notoriously been an area on other sandals that will cut into my ankle). Cons: limited adjustment - there is only one strap with velcro to adjust the fit, and I personally would love to make the straps that cross over my toe area a bit tighter.

I absolutely ADORE these sandals. I bought the brown pair last summer; I love Merrell's! They don't hurt my feet or legs, they don't make my back hurt, and they're cute! They go with a summer dress or capris or even shorts. They are a perfect fit for me right out of the box. They do stretch a bit as you wear them but they are easily adjustable with velcro on the heel strap as well as well as on the cross strap. These are the typical great quality that is usually Merrell's; they have with a nice footbed and bottoms that can handle a walk in the woods as easily as shopping. And for a great price!

This is my replacement for a much-loved pair. On the original pair, after two years of frequent wear, the edges of the footbed wore down on the area near the heel rests and near the toe edges. I like the flexible footbed that is soft with gentle arch support. I wanted leather straps for durability. The heel straps are lined with a thin neoprene layer for reinforcement/cushioning. With this new pair, out-of-the-box, the non-adjustable strap that runs across the toes is tighter than my original pair. I hope the leather will stretch out through wear, and after becoming wet a few times. Because the new pair needs to be "broken in" a bit, I can't give it 5 stars. I live in these sandals during warm months because they are unassuming, functional, comfortable, and durable.

Sandles are great. They have a good arch. This is my 3rd pair that I have purchased of this sandle.

These replace a well worn pair of Merrell’s. With summer ahead — and before that a Hawaiian vacation, I knew I needed to replace the well worn ones in my closet. I have found that Merrells help reduce foot, knee, and back pain for me. And! They look good!

I purchased this pair on Aug 30, 2023 to replace my original pair which lasted me several years before expiring. I maybe wore them a few times before Fall weather set in and just started wearing them again for the summer a couple weeks ago. To my surprise and dismay, I discovered yesterday (July 4, 2024) that one of the straps on the shoe is frayed and about to break (also leaving me on vacation with only a pair of flip flops). I expected to get more than a month's wear out of these after my original pair lasted 3+ years with fairly heavy use. I am hoping I just got a dud pair of shoes and that this is not indicative of the current quality of Merrell shoes. Otherwise, I find this style comfortable, great for walking and it looks nice either with shorts or skirts. I expect more of the Merrell brand though as far as durability.

I purchased these in the olive color for wearing with cargo pants on safari. They are so cute that I’ve worn them on errands and to casual events. The soles are very flexible and I had a tendency at first to turn the front (near toes) part upside down when I first started wearing them. However, I think I probably bought them a little too big to begin with. I haven’t noticed that I’m doing that now that I’ve been wearing them a few weeks. They are comfortable - not super cushy but perfectly fine and the straps are not tight, itchy or otherwise irritating. I may buy the blue ones also.

Great price for good quality sandals

J'ai commandé les 40 mais elles étaient trop larges devant (je fais du 39 1/3 en Salomon). Retour et échange rapide. Les 39 me vont très bien, très très confortable pour la marche et fait un pied fin.

Very comfortable pair of sandals. I’m usually a 9US but bought size down and it fits perfect like they were tailor made for my feet.

Es tal cómo se ve en la foto aunque el color marrón, que es el que yo me pedí,en realidad es un beige, pero es bonito. Tuve que devolverlas porqué aunque dice que calza igual al número que tú calzas siempre no es así,yo hubiera necesitado medio número más
