It's Kreg so of course it's worthy of some manner of praise being the whole "industry standard" pocket hole jig producer... But... It really could be better to be honest. It feels like it's intentionally held back by odd design choices. Centering the jig on a board for instance requires utilizing some reference marks on the tool rather than being able to simply gauge the edges of the tool vs the edges of the board. As others have said the clamping is not 100% foolproof, but if you use the tool properly it works properly. It takes some getting used to, which is surprising but it's a tool like any other so it should have some level of learning curve expected. I used it to make a pet gate quickly, and it didn't disappoint but again it also doesn't seem like it's much more than any other brands offering. That's the real reason for the raiting. If you have an exceptionally superior product than by all means you should have the credit for it... But it feels a bit like it's simply riding on it's name/reputation rather than actually providing "more" tool. Why 4/5 stars?

So glad I bought this upgrade!!! I was still using the original with the clamp and saw this one. Very easy to use. Only complaint was the easy stop collar only stayed in place for 2-3 holes at a time then I’d have to tighten it again. Nothing some painter’s tape didn’t solve.

I had to replace an off brand with this one. In one week I used this to run about 100 holes. No doubt this is outstanding and extremely versatile. No doubt on recommendation.

Tried a few other lower priced variations, but decided to pony up for the “real thing.” I do think this pocket jig bundle is expensive for what it is, but it works 10/10 for creating pocket holes quick and easy. My first project involved me creating about 40 holes across 10 different pieces of wood and it held up great! Just be sure to unclog the wood pieces once in a while or the release lever won’t allow the main section to move back to its original position. Highly recommend this for anyone making repeated pocket holes.

This is a fantastic jig for pocket holes. It’s very easy to use. I bought one a few years ago and was so happy with it I bought one for my daughter.

Cet outils fait gagner du temps pour placer des vis biases (pocket hole en anglais). Toutefois après plusieurs utilisations, j'ai toujours l'impression que le serrage à la gachette n'est pas suffisamment fort. Par ailleurs, il faut généralement placer une petite cale pour mettre le panneau de bois à la bonne hauteur. Si c'était à refaire, je pense que je prendrais le modèle 720. C'est malgré tout un très bon produit
