Review: Lovely & Strong - Very nice holders. I wanted them for tiramisu and the coating on the inside is perfect for keeping the espresso from leaking through. I originally gave these 4 stars because the large rectangle cups are stacked in groups of 10 or so and the top group is shoved upside down in the stack to make the stack appear nicer but distorts those first cups significantly. Wouldn’t be a problem if you are using these to bake as they could expand back out but not if your filling with a pre-made desert. These did end up working out beautifully though so upped them to 5 stars. The round cups I baked a crumb crust in and held up nicely in the oven.

**Q: Is the design on the flared silver or gold?**
A: The design has a dark grey tone.

**Q: Are these fully compostable? it looks like the liner is pet- is that true? i bought the little ones for truffles**
A: They do have a thin clear interior lining. I’m assuming they are recyclable. I like them better than just paper as it gives more support. Flexible enough to stretch out sides of cup and retain shape. I love them.

**Q: has anyone found a larger size that is similar quality (thick paper, coated)?**
A: No, I wish I could, but have not!

**Q: Would these work for cake balls?**
A: I think it depends on the size of your cake balls. I got them for Petite Fours and they were too small. My little cakes measure approx. 1 1/2" squared. I hope this helps! If you can control the cake ball size and make them 1" or smaller, they would work. I was so disappointed they didn't work for me because they are really gorgeous! :)
