REALLY HELPFUL
These are easy to put on your controller, you just slip them right over the little joystick. They give you alot more of precision and accuracy in the games you are playing. You will notice a BIG DIFFERENCE. I honestly didn't think you would but, I was really surprised, you really do.There are so many times you need to have that tiny little touch in aiming and these will allow that. This will make a difference in winning or losing a game. You get 3 different feels of these little rings, a light, medium and firmer feel. You can switch them out if you choose to anytime you need to according to the game you are playing. They are very delicate, so they need to be handled with care. But, if handled with care when applying, they will last you and you will agree, they are well worth the money and mean the difference between winning or losing your game.

Great Product
These KontrolFreek precision rings have been a great addition to my gaming setup. They add just the right amount of resistance and control to improve accuracy and smoothness while using the controller. They’re easy to install, stay in place well, and have made aiming and fine movements feel more consistent. A simple upgrade that can make a noticeable difference for anyone looking to improve their gameplay.

Tames your aim
I’ve been using these for a couple years now. I can be heavy handed and these help with generally keeping my aim tighter. I like the feel and resistance they provide. They hold up longer than I figured they would, but do eventually either rip or kind of disintegrate over time. The biggest con is the price. Almost $11 is pretty insane for these.

OK for aiming/driving if you're not a well-practiced controller user
As someone who mostly uses keyboard and mouse for FPS games, I was looking for anything to help smooth out the messy input of a controller joystick. The good: They do work ok for aiming or driving. It adds a buffer zone for movement so you don't end up going too far beyond your intended spots when moving the stick. Some games have a movement acceleration if you push the sticks all the way, these will reduce your chances of accidentally hitting that point and zooming past the place you wanted. If you're a person who just isn't awesome at controlling sticks, these might help you. The not-so-good: Selecting weapons on Horizon uses the right stick and the selection won't register unless the stick is near the outermost edge. So you have to press extremely hard against the ring every time you switch weapon or ammo type to make the selection register. If you regularly need to press the stick to the outermost edges, it'll crush that foam and start wearing your rings down almost immediately which will lead to tearing or loss of resistance, meaning frequent replacements. The bad: Because the rings are a softer foam material, they may begin tearing as quickly as... one removal from your controller. The green foam, when stretching over the standard DS4 stick to remove it, began to rip on the outer edge. A couple more cycles of on/off would begin to develop a significant tear, especially when combined with the crushing down usage in Horizon. If you're not a very well-practiced controller user and the games you're playing don't *require* movement of the stick to the extreme edges and you have a second controller for any games where you don't want to have the rings on. They're great. They'll still wear down and need to be replaced eventually, but what can you expect of foam? If you are already pretty good at aiming on higher sensitivity, or your game has important functions requiring those outer edges, or if you have just the one controller and might take off and replace them as you change games. Any *one* of those things is a reason to not get them.

Perfect for MLB the Show
These improved my hitting in MLB the Show BIG TIME. I'm using the green one on the left stick of my GameSir G7 SE and I've never hit better before. Now for a bit of a "con"... the purple and black (medium and hard) precision rings are too stiff for me - so I'll end up just throwing them away. So essentially I got 2 little pieces of foam for $10. While they work wonders, that's a bit of a rip off. They should sell the colors/strength individually. $10 for 6 green rings wouldn't be so bad. It's also TBD how long they'll hold up. Still giving it 5 stars though because the green rings are very effective for my use case.

My poor thumbs are crying!
I tried using these for both PS3, PS4, XB1 and XB360 controllers. They are pretty easy to put on the sticks. But there is a lot more empty initial swing in the PS controllers than the XB ones, due to the PS controllers having longer stick rods. This was my first attempt with such a product, so it was a trial run to see which stiffness I needed, so I got the mixed stiffness pack. Even the lightest stiffness made my sticks immovable objects. It took incredible strength to move them at all, and with my greatest effort, could not get them to move very much past 15 - 20%. Even using my whole hand, pulling the stick, I could barely get it to 100%. The stick had great difficulty teaching the edge of the rim because the foam completely gets in the way at the edge. They also looked funny, like a man wearing way too many turtleneck sweaters. Pretty colors though, I will say that. My finger often slipped off the sticks as well, even with stick grips on them. After releasing, the stick would be forced dead center again like a mousetrap. My thumbs began to hurt almost immediately. I tried to give them a shot and strengthen my thumbs, but moving these sticks was a task that only Arnold Schwarzenegger could achieve. I tried putting my thumbs along the side of the stick and pushing them, but the sides of my thumbs began to get sore and red and slightly bruised. If this was the loose version, they need to make an super-ultra-mega-loose version. I didn't even want to try the tough stiffness version. I tried to take them off my controller, but it was harder to take off than it was to put on. There is no empty space to grip them under the stick head and the base of the controller. I couldnt get a good grip on it, but once I did and pulled it, it ripped off a corner of the foam. My fingernails are super short, so it wasnt caused by them cutting it. It just ripped off because I pulled it. I tried again, and SNAP! Well, that's that. My fingers must be as wimpy and soggy as Jack In The Box french fries, because my fingers got bent and got squished really easily using these things; Or I'm just not used to them. Or it could be the very possible fact that these are made out of the same material as the O-Rings used on the NASA space shuttle SRB rockets. You know the things that caused Challenger to explode in 1986? Really tight, and very brittle. Unless you can win a thumb wrestling match against Dwayne Johnson, I would not recommend buying these devices in any stiffness. Definitely not for children, unless you enjoy being a tear-wiper. "Mommy! Daddy! These controller rings gave me a boo-boo!" Aw, heeeeell nah!
