Drip System replacement fuse
This summer we had an electrical storm lightning strike cause an electric surge that blew the fuse in my drip system water controller. It was some time before I noticed that the drip system was not working, and the plants in my front yard suffered from lack of water with the high heat of summer. I couldn't find exactly the right fuse here in town, so I ordered these as replacements for both of my drip system water controllers. They are exactly the same voltage and amperage rating as the original fuse, so now I have some spares should they ever blow again..

Working as expected

Fixed our sprinkler system!
I was alarmed when our sprinkler system suddenly stopped working. Some online research suggested it might be the fuse. Since I didn't know it had a fuse, and I've been running the sprinkler system for over 10 years, I figured it was worth a try. I popped one of these in, and our system immediately came to life. I doubt I will need the rest in the package, but I'll hang on to them in case there are other things I have with hidden fuses!
