Really it’s a shame it didn’t get made into animation as it’s very good, but at least we have this comic book. I got this for my 12 year old son to read in the run up to the new Maul Shadow Lord animated series, but couldn’t resist giving it a read myself! It’s basically a comic adaptation of what would (and indeed should) have been an arc of the Clone Wars TV series which ended up getting cancelled around the time Disney bought into Star Wars. Really it’s a shame it didn’t get made into animation as it’s very good, but at least we have this comic book. If you are a fan of Maul and would like to fill in some blanks of his story, then this is highly recommended by us.
