It was expensive but so far, it has taken care of excess moisture in my 1985 F-250.

I got this for my vehicle but I cannot recommend it for this. It has an akward top the was flimsy and threatened to break with the slightest touch as well as not wanting to stay in place. I was worried about it falling apart and spilling water all over and the block that attracts the water vapor just kind of hardened up and stopped working. Terrible, terrible, terrible. It might work in a different location under different circumstances, but did not come close to impressing me or working anywhere near expectations. I will stick with the hanging bag type in the future.

I use this in my keezer to keep the frost on the interior walls down. They do a decent job, better than the Damp rid ones I've used in the past.

Don't ask me how I know this. The liquid that collects in the sump of this "bucket" is highly corrosive. If it spills it will soak into cracks in your woodwork and eat up any screws that are in there. The only way to get rid of it is to replace the wood. Yeah, it's my fault, but it's a simple forgetful mistake that anyone can make. So I'd advise against using these. Use the hanging ones, instead. They work as well and are safer.

We bought this for our camper while in storage. The product works really well at removing water from the air. The plastic case that holds the desiccant is absolutely junk. Its large and the plastic is so cheap it comes pre-warped for you. The lid doesn't snap securely and because of it's size and shape, the lid will pop off causing you to dump the entire contents all over, desiccant and water. Whatever chemical they are using causes the water it's removing to become something else. In one of these drops, the water spilled into a stainless steel sink and caused it to rust. For the money you're paying, you think they could make a better container.

Extremely disappointing service and value. I purchased this to help deal with any odours or excess moisture in a heated storage compartment of an RV. I was very surprised and disappointed with just how small it is but what will prevent me from ever buying another one (*where is the replacement 'absorber pack ONLY' that I thought I was going to put on my 'Subscribe & Save'?? Not found. But No Matter. This thing only lasted a WEEK before I can smell an odour in the compartment and it appears to already have 'bricked out'. It's a heated compartment with no moisture problems. TERRIBLE VALUE - stay away!
