He brought 1 of these books from school one day, and spent the whole day reading it until finished because he had to return it the next day. He asked me for the whole set, and what kind of parent would not buy books for his/her kids if they ask? I mistakenly ordered this set (apparently this is the second set, now he also made me buy the first set as well), and he went through these in about a week or less. He keeps on re-reading them, asking me what XXXXX means, so his vocabulary is improving constantly. He HATED reading, and now he just can't stop. I'm also going to order the 3rd set pretty soon, and any other set that come after (if it happens). This is one of those things that I would gladly pay anything for, as this is all about getting my kid to love reading. Take into consideration that our native language is Spanish, not English, but I have my kids in a bilingual school, and my boy was struggling with the English language not long ago. These are not so hard that he can't understand jack, but also not so easy that he doesn't have to inquire about some terms and jargon. Great learning tool.
