Why is it vanilla flavored?

Hi Sue A., you're absolutely right, the ingredients label on this bottle does list "natural vanilla flavor" as an ingredient.  From the research I've conducted on this particular product (you can 100% verify by reading the older customer reviews from 2013), it appears that before the natural vanilla flavor was added to this supplement at some point within the last 2 years, many people complained that it contained quite a strong unpleasant odor.  One customer stated they felt compelled to hold their nose while taking it, another customer compared the capsule's odor to the smell of urine (sorry, I know that's pretty gross), and another customer found the smell to be so offensive, they could not put it in their daily pill box with the rest of their other supplements because the odor actually would spread itself on to the other tablets and capsules!  I'm guessing the makers of this supplement didn't want to scare away potential new customers with such an overpoweringly negative scent.  So they decided to add an all natural, vegan-friendly flavor to enhance the palatability of the capsules.  Natural vanilla flavor means it is made with real vanilla and does not pose any of the hazards that artificial flavoring does, and unless you are allergic to real vanilla, it is not dangerous nor unhealthy for you.Hope that helps a little.
